Not tolerant of people who are opposed to SSM and euthansia. They are not tolerant of pro-lifers and Catholic Teaching.

How do you think someone can work to change it within the Dem party? Some folks, Dems, in Congress have tried that and failed and IMO they are in a better place to change that than those of us outside the body of government. If they don’t work to change it, who will? Proponents of abortion would just go elsewhere, to another party. If Rosa Parks had taken a seat at the back of the bus instead trying to right wrongs African-Americans might still be oppressed.
It’s better to right wrongs than to turn a blind eye to them.
Great! The vast majority of Democrats do not support those things, either. Not tolerant of people who are opposed to SSM and euthansia.
Then why are so many flocking to Sanders during this primary season? They certainly feel like the world owes them something.Democrats are a tolerant party for all who do not feel “the world owes them something.” There are other parties for that kind of thing.
You must not watch Fox News then. They regularly criticize Republicans and often praise Democrats. They do lean right, though, which earns them the wrath of lefties, who dominate the news media.
None of the stats I’ve seen back this up. What sources are you using?Great! The vast majority of Democrats do not support those things, either.
I guess because they don’t want the top 2% of Americans to receive more tax breaks while the vast middle class, whose finances are already strained, would see their taxes raised with any GOP candidate. Then why are so many flocking to Sanders during this primary season? What taxes are being proposed by republican candidates?I guess because they don’t want the top 2% of Americans to receive more tax breaks while the vast middle class, whose finances are already strained, would see their taxes raised with any GOP candidate.
Which Republican has proposed raising taxes?I guess because they don’t want the top 2% of Americans to receive more tax breaks while the vast middle class, whose finances are already strained, would see their taxes raised with any GOP candidate.
But this is a a thread about Clinton’s emails. No news on that. Guess there is no “smoking gun.”
I don’t know Democratic talking points. I’m not a Democrat.Which Republican has proposed raising taxes?
Methinks your statement is just a Dem talking point…
I’m not a Democrat either, but I know the party line. The difference is, I don’t espouse them.I don’t know Democratic talking points. I’m not a Democrat.
I shouldn’t even be on political threads, I’m a French woman.
At the very least you shouldn’t claim republicans are going to raise taxes on the middle class if you cannot back it up. If a republican was making such a proposal it certainly would be well worth bringing up, but if they didn’t I am not sure why you brought it up.I don’t know Democratic talking points. I’m not a Democrat.

Not tolerant of Christians who want to practice their faith in the public square. Shut them up in their churches. Separation of church and state. It’s in the Constitution!!Not tolerant of people who are opposed to SSM and euthansia.
Moi non plus.I’m not a Democrat either, but I know the party line. The difference is, I don’t espouse them.
Okay, fair enough. I won’t bring something up unless I can back it up with a link.At the very least you shouldn’t claim republicans are going to raise taxes on the middle class if you cannot back it up. You are right; they just think that the government owes them. Like free junior college education, just to pick one of the more recent ones.Democrats are a tolerant party for all who do not feel “the world owes them something.” There are other parties for that kind of thing.
There are Democrat pro life members of Congress, but you can bet your last dollar that if the party has a choice in the next local election to support the incumbent, or to run someone in opposition to them who is pro abortion, they are going to take a very long look at the pro abortion candidate; and if they think that one can’t win, they will think long and hard about how much enthusiasm and money they put into the pro life candidate’s run.Are there Democratic pro-lifers? I have Catholic friends who are Dems and this is thinking I’ve never understood. How does one support a party or candidate who is feels that not only is abortion ok but that it is an absolute right of women? As far as I know both Clinton & Sanders have a similar stance on the issue.
There is no vast middle class; it has been shrinking for some time.I guess because they don’t want the top 2% of Americans to receive more tax breaks while the vast middle class, whose finances are already strained, would see their taxes raised with any GOP candidate.
But this is a a thread about Clinton’s emails. No news on that. Guess there is no “smoking gun.”
The problem is, the middle class is and always has been a myth. Nobody really knows what the middle class is.There is no vast middle class; it has been shrinking for some time.
Okay them, the shrinking middle class, the poor, the Hispanic-Americans, the African-Americans, feminists. All those are among Clinton’s very loyal base. There is no vast middle class; it has been shrinking for some time.
Economists have had a fairly clear definition of it for a very long time. The problem is, the middle class is and always has been a myth. Nobody really knows what the middle class is.
