The Rosary has been affirmed by the Church as being good to pray in Church. And the Sacramental itself has been affirmed as meriting spiritual blessings when prayed in Church.“‘Objectively’, phones ought to be turned OFF in Church.”
In Church, during public prayer like the Mass, I would agree. But people also shouldn’t be saying the rosary or reading the missal instead of attending the Mass.
‘Objectively’, phones ought to be turned OFF in Church.
Adoration is for adoration. For adoration, why?
Reasons already stated throughout the thread. Not my thread so am going to leave this here. If people choose to keep with their feelings about the subject then that is something between themselves and God.From what I can tell you have stated they aren’t respectful; and don’t draw people closer to God. I apologize if I have misread that. But I haven’t seen a ‘Why’.
Further, I’ve seen people, including priests, use phones in a respectful, functional way. So again, why?
