North Korea’s rage was created by the mllions that US killed there, dropping more bombs on Korea than all bombs that were dropped against Japan combined.
Now you put sanctions on them, make their lives miserable and then make fun of them for being poor.
North Korea was richer than South Korea until late 1980s.
Even today, South Korea has biggest suicide rate in Asia, along with Japan. Looks like American style of life did not help South Korea. Their population has such low fertility rate, they will seize to exist by the next century.
While North Korea will survive, and maybe once more be progressive country.
Or they just end up nuking US cities.

I am more than sure that nothing will happen there.
The project of North Korea as a scarecrow is just need for some powers, so that the people who scored their guts with too comfortable life would be always awake.
I am surprised by another, of course, I do not want to compare our democratic achievements with totalitarian states, but the population of North Korea is 25.2 million on a tiny piece of land , and they manage not only to feed all of them but to provide all with housing and so on.
Ukraine with such a huge territory and with such rich resources is for a long time in a state of stagnation. The whole problem is that the authorities traditionally behave towards the people as ocupants.
In the Bible there is an expression where it is spoken of the blood of Abel who was able to scream from under the earth, so the blood of the victims of this war screams for revenge on those who brutally profit from it and step on the same rake as Yanukovych. And they can also wait for the fate of Yanukovych. The people are not the same as they were before, especially many desperate guys among those who returned from the war.

Well if that is your standard, ,why do the Russian Orthodox Christians hate Polish Catholics? The innocent Russian Orthodox Christians have been itching to dominate that country again since 1992.

Dude, Ukraine’s budget was almost 200 billions dollars during Yanukovich, since pro-western putch, Ukraine’s budget is less than 90 billions dollars, and it continues to drop. Most of the industrial gigants have been closed down or sold to western foreigners.
Ukraine will fall apart politically, ethnically and economically. That country cant survive after Yanukovich.
It was the western powers that ruined Ukraine by creating putch against Yanukovich and turning Ukraine in to war zone by trying to turn the country against Russia, it’s neighbor that shares almost same language and culture, and a neighbor that is paranoid nuclear super power. Good luck with that.

The Ukrainians turned against Yanukovich, and for good reason. The west did not cause it. One is reminded that in the 2013 Pew poll, the majority of even Russian speakers in eastern Ukraine wanted to remain in Ukraine, not be made part of Russia. Fully 70% of all eastern Ukrainians wanted to remain part of Ukraine. Now, of course, some million eastern Ukrainians have been scattered to the winds by the Russians and their agents in eastern Ukraine.

Remember too that the Ukrainian parliament voted to oust Yanukovich, even including the members of his own party. The country then held elections when Yanukovich ran to Moscow and stayed. There was no “putsch”.

All true, but that doesn’t fit with the whole “America sponsored a Ukrainian coupe!” Somehow Russia has convinced even some Westerners that it’s annexation of Crimea and backing a civil war (including Russian troops out of uniform in Eastern Ukraine) is totally justified because Ukrainians had the audacity to dump Yanukovich.

Yanukovich was elected, he was taken down by some western funded protests. And now Ukraine is budget free fall country waging war against Russia for the interests of the western powers. It was not in interest of Ukraine to turn against Russia, look what happened to the country, it lost Crimea and all of it’s industry and half of the country wants to break away.
During Yanukovich, they at least had some economy and were one country.

What, did Ukraine fail to pay their protection money to Russia so they deserve this? Lost their krisha, did they?

When has life been good in Ukraine under Russian domination? Certainly not during the Soviet period, when millions starved while the Soviets were selling grain abroad for hard currency. Certainly not now that Russia seized Crimea and turned eastern Ukraine into a charnel house. And not under Yanukovich either, when he stole the country blind. and was Putin’s puppet.

Come on, everyone knows Maidan was a set up. And it is NATO that demands 'protection money", all NATO members must pay to NATO. Ukraine had no such alliance with Russia.
And Ukraine is now paying a bloody price to it’s new corporate masters from the west. They literally don’t have economy anymore. 25% of their products were sold to Russia, 40% of it’s populated lands say they are Russians, turning Ukraine against Russia is the most stupid thing Ukraine could have done, Yanukovich did not want to do it, so he was replaced by undemocratic violence, almost half of Ukraine is populated by Russians. If you don’t respect half of your citizens, don’t expect bright future.

Yanukovich was not pro-Putin puppet, he won elections by promoting good relations with Russia and the west. When he refused to become pro-western puppet, he was replaced via classic colored CIA revolution.
All of Russia suffered under communism too, the same communists gave Ukraine Crimea in the 1960s. Ukraine became the most industrialized republic of the Soviet Union, now they lost all that because they are run by western puppet traitors.

It was not a protest of millions, only few thousands of hooligans who were throwing rocks at the police. What is for west to pay few thousand hooligans to throw rocks at the police, and organize a shooting? Nothing.

Try throwing rocks at US policemen. You will see how democracy looks like.

Again, you forget that Yanukovich’s own party members in parliament also voted to oust him. It wasn’t just a “few hooligans” that ousted him. The Ukrainian parliament did, AFTER he fled to Russia. If he even had the support of the army, he could have stayed, but he didn’t.

Of course he fled, he would have been killed if he stayed. And the party gave up on him after he fled. His party was also persecuted by the Soros-funded protesters and neo-NAZIs, so for the party to avoid further persecution, they gave up on Yanukovich. It was all staged, while Russia was busy with the winter olympic games. And now Ukraine has been destroyed, and Russia is suffering sanctions, two flies killed by one move. Brilliant.

No. He would have been arrested if he stayed. There is still an Interpol warrant for him for theft. It does need to be admitted that his party fared badly in the ensuring election, just as the right-wing parties did. One jewish candidate got more votes than all the right-wingers put together. Pro-Putin people like to claim the Ukrainian protesters were a bunch of Nazis, but the election results prove differently.

But “Maidan” is not a single event or location(the word Turkish or even Arab origin) but it should be a process, a constant struggle for free, democratic, legal state.
Ukraine needs to triple the standards and quality of life, and then the fallen away regions will begging us to be the part of Ukraine again, and to do this we must first fight corruption.
