Does anybody know any resources that refute islam?

Scripture is the best place to start, though there are resources dedicated to refuting Islam in particular (I’ll leave it to others to provide any they’ve found useful, as I’m not too terribly interested in Islam to study it in depth).

But as for Scripture, it’s fairly easy to make the case against Islam there. As an example, Muslims reject the Crucifixion and Resurrection (insisting that someone else took Jesus’ place), but they don’t get this idea from the gospels- rather, they get it from the Gnostics (or some other heretics). So, we’re left to either take the eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ disciples, or the tales penned by men whom the entire Church of Christ condemned.

The problem with refuting Islam is that its “scripture” includes refutations of Christianity.

So just as we believe the Bible when it says Christ was born in a stable, Muslims believe that the Resurrection was falsified. They believe the Koran over the Bible.

the gospels

especially as it pertains to Jesus

either Jesus died on the cross or he didn’t
And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah .” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. Surat An-Nisa [verse 157-159]
49 But the others said, “Don’t bother him. We want to see if Elijah will come to save him.”

50 Again Jesus cried out loudly and then died.[d]

51 When Jesus died, the curtain in the Temple was torn into two pieces. The tear started at the top and tore all the way to the bottom. Also, the earth shook and rocks were broken.52 The graves opened, and many of God’s people who had died were raised from death. 53 They came out of the graves. And after Jesus was raised from death, they went into the holy city, and many people saw them. Matthew 27
only one of the above can be true. your choice is which will you believe.

i have read the miracles associated with Jesus was the key,

The best resources, IMO, compare the historical Jesus to the historical Mohammed. Tenets of faith will get you nowhere.

Why bother? Better to focus on becoming a better Christian and Catholic. This is the path that the Exalted has chosen for you.

Saints…
“Whoever does not embrace the Catholic Christian faith is lost, like your false prophet Muhammad.”

*-St. Peter Mavimenus (d. 8th century), martyr from Gaza.

“There is also the superstition of the Ishmaelites which to this day prevails and keeps people in error, being a forerunner of the Antichrist…. From that time to the present a false prophet named Mohammed has appeared in their midst. This man, after having chanced upon the Old and New Testaments and likewise, it seems, having conversed with an Arian monk, devised his own heresy. Then, having insinuated himself into the good graces of the people by a show of seeming piety, he gave out that a certain book had been sent down to him from heaven. He had set down some ridiculous compositions in this book of his and he gave it to them as an object of veneration.”

*-St. John Damascene (d. 749), Syrian Arab Catholic monk and scholar.

“We profess Christ to be truly God and your prophet to be a precursor of the Antichrist and other profane doctrine.”

*-Sts. Habenitus, Jeremiah, Peter, Sabinian, Walabonsus, and Wistremundus (d. 851), martyrs of Cordoba,

“Any cult which denies the divinity of Christ, does not profess the existence of the Holy Trinity, refutes baptism, defames Christians, and derogates the priesthood, we consider to be damned.”

*-Sts. Aurelius, Felix, George, Liliosa, and Natalia (d. 852), martyrs of Cordoba, Spain.

“On the other hand, those who founded sects committed to erroneous doctrines proceeded in a way that is opposite to this, the point is clear in the case of Muhammad. He seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh goads us. His teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected, he was obeyed by carnal men. As for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity. He did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the contrary, Muhammad said that he was sent in the power of his arms—which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants.”

*-St. Thomas Aquinas (d. 1274), Theologian and Doctor of the Church.

Perhaps to aid those who mistakenly think they are walking a salvific path.
Thank you for sharing your conviction.

‘We have assigned a law and a path to each of you. If God had so willed, He would have made you one community, but He wanted to test you through that which He has given you, so race to do good: you will all return to God and He will make clear to you the matters you differed about.’ (Al-Ma’ida: 48)

May the Exalted continue to guide you along the path He has assigned to you.

Thank you, my friend. May God always light your own path and may you be blessed by the way, the truth and the life.

Your time is better spent being a light to Muslims by living a holy life than refuting their religion
That’s a naive statement when muslims consider us to be infidels and therefore according to their koran are open to attack by them.

“Let there be no compulsion in religion” - Quran 2:256

Don’t know which one of us is naive…

When was the last time you saw a Muslim convert to Christianity as a result of you refuting their religion?
