I thought I read the Church teaches homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered etc. but the PERSON had sacred worth and as such should be treated with compassion, respect and dignity. I sure don’t see that here in many respects. Didn’t someone say “homosexuality is against Church teaching?” Exactly how when the Church admits SSA is beyond a person’s control?
Questions like “why don’t we have a shoplifter’s club or bestiality club?” are hardly seem
respectful either.
However, this is all about a tempest in a teapot. I don’t think you can “convince” anyone to be Gay by have a club, nor is it likely that even very many kids will go to them. If high school today is anything like it was when I went, announcing your sexual preference would be anathema! And the timid, confused souls who probably most need support would be the least likely of all to go!
I didn’t see any “hurray” McGuinty was defeated posts, so I assume he won re-election?
