So I took a couple minute break from my lovely July 4th holiday to come by CAF. I see I didn’t miss anything new on this thread.

Have a great holiday weekend everyone 🙂
You too. 🙂

The trial is still going on though,

NO CLUE?

I guess George is scre*** Guilty until proven innocent.
It’s Martin that got the shaft in this case. Zimmerman found him guilty and a suspect and he was innocent. Serino said there was NO evidence he was committing any crime.

What is the proper number of blows to the head should one take before one acts in self-defense? My aunt was killed with one from a fall.

Being killed by a neighbor on neighborhood watch that was following you around and named you as a “suspect” is a lot different than being “killed” with one from a fall.

What offensive wounds did Martin have?

No one has called anyone on this thread a defender of Murderers. Most say we don’t know what happened because one party of the incident, Martin is dead.

So what are you saying?

Well, my mom was beaten to a pulp, strangled, and left for dead. But she lived.

/, but it’s the truth.

So what are you saying?
There was no evidence according to the police he was committing a crime. He should be able to walk in his neighborhood peacefully without being followed and reported to the
police as a suspect. Then shot dead.

Yeah, anyone can call police and report that they think someone is suspicious. I don’t understand what you’re saying there.

Plus it’s not illegal to follow someone in a public area. Rude, maybe? Illegal, no.

There are plenty of scenarios where TM could credibly be the physical aggressor, which would make his actions criminal. He’s not on trial though. Z is, and the state must prove Z was the aggressor for a murder charge.

They won’t be able to do that because one witness is dead. Therefore Zimmerman
will probably be acquitted.

I agree TM is not on trial; he’s dead.

How many gun shots does it take before one is dead and can’t recover.
Depends. In my aforementioned post, my father was killed by a single shot to the head. I’ve known people shot in the head who survived.

The fact that a person is either dead or alive has no bearing on the guilt of the perpetrator of the shot. It’s the circumstances that make it murder or self-defense.

The fact the Trayvon is dead makes Zimmerman a murderer? What is your point?

I agree with you, the state has not been able to prove its case against GZ. Acquittal would be the correct result.

Ever hear of forensics?
I watched a little of the trial over my lunch hour - it was on in the break room. It would appear the medical examiner think forensics is some sort of acting class. He was completely clueless. Apparently it is his opinion that Martin was acting under the influence of drugs that night - something he forgot to tell the prosecutor and the defense.

If your point is TM is dead, we agree. It’s very sad.

Even so, guilt or innocence of GZ can and will be determined by this trial.

Never heard that. I did hear TM had bruised knuckles. What did the ME deduct from that?
