The entire situation is tragic. A young man is dead and another young man’s life will never be the same. But, hopefully now it is behind all of us and we can all move on peacefully.

The kind of god that will bless Florida for this verdict is not the god I would call out to.

That would be an evil and malevolent spirit that has no connection to Lord Jesus.

Jesus taught mercy and forgiveness. Those who hate George Zimmerman should let go of their hate.
 
If the MSM will leave it alone… which they prolly won’t so long as they think they can get some mileage out of it.

I will pray for you. That you will realize that many do not view everything in terms of race. That verdicts, decisions and disagreements can have nothing to do with race at all. That, truly, for many race doesn’t even enter into the equation. God bless and heal you.
 
The media and indeed, some politicians made this whole trial political, I was a conservative independent on this, not on either side.
 
It is possible to see both sides as innocent of any action that should have led to death under normal circumstances. I sincerely mourn the loss of TM’s life and sympathize with his family and loved ones. I rejoice in the finding of not guilty for GZ and am happy that a 20-year jail sentence was not added on top of the tragic death of TM. True justice is as always left to Almighty God.

Juries are the best way we have been able to devise to decide the truth, but they don’t always get it right. If you don’t think they got it right in this case, that’s okay. If it had gone the other way, I would not have thought they got it right. Other than TM and GZ, only heaven knows. We are able to keep order by this system, but it is far from perfect.
 
O’mara’s last statement about evidence over emotion and calling out the media vultures was great.

This was a victory for justice, self-defense and the rule of law tonight. Next time thugs like Trayvon might think twice before attacking weaker people (these are the kinds of beatings you just never hear about in the media though).

Maybe I am mistaken, but was there not at least one black person on the jury?

If so, are you implying that the black juror(s) were racist against blacks as well?
