No Mary, TM had the right to confront GZ. I’ve done it myself in NYC with creeps following me. And was mad also probably like TM was. I know the feeling well, first the adrenaline flows then after a couple times looking back you get mad, and you “then” you turn around. That’s how it works sis.
But you have the same responsibility with any human as with a police officer. Its not a quick assessment that the creep was not a police officer so I then am entitled to act differently and dog him.
Sort of telling about us as humans though, no? These are the same things I talk about with the kids Mary. They are a bit too pumped up and full of themselves at TM age, and that’s not a bad thing, if it can be correctly channelled. And yes if TM lived right here, he would be hanging out also. Mary it doesn’t mean TM was not a good kid, it doesn’t mean blacks only act like this, it doesn’t mean we all don’t make mistakes. And as they walk out the door at night, you see the same smiles and grins with a promise they will not get in trouble and will look out for one another. And by large they do. But they make mistakes.
Now think of all these same youth out here who don’t really have a family or anything but that street. You see why they are disconnected? They feel “abandoned”
