Why do people think its offensive at best, racist at it’s worst to use the “n” word but the black community can say “cracker” till the cows come home and nobody calls them on it?
I don’t think cracker has the same hateful bigoted tone about it.

Information about the stolen jewelry found in Martin’s backpack.

Why was Martin in Sanford? Because he had been suspended from school, officially for writing graffiti. However, a search of his backpack uncovered 12 pieces of stolen jewelry as well as a screwdriver deemed to be a burglary tool.

Why was Martin not charged with possession of stolen goods, and why was this not brought to the attention of the police? Because the chief of the school system police force had decided to reduce crime among the students by not reporting it (!).

So, now we have a young man who had been in possession of stolen jewelry who was wandering around looking in the windows of the apartments. Yes, I know Zimmerman didn’t onow about the stolen jewelry, but it is independent evidence that Martin’s behavior might well have been suspicious.

This is completely aside from the information from Martin’s cellphone and online accounts.

While it is true that Martin was “just a kid,” it is actually not unknown that these “kids” commit crimes completely independently.
According to his mother Trayvon was “an angel.”

I think it’s a pathetic, racist word to use, along with the black community using the “n” word so darn freely. Absolutely racist.

If Martin wanted to escape from the “creepy a** crackah” he should have headed home, rather than confronting him.

Lisa
Because he wanted the “creepy ***** crackah” to face the full wrath of an angry black man.

He got out of his car to get information for the police–there is no evidence he stalked or pursued Martin. And the gun was holstered–he already had it on him. He had a concealed-carry license allowing him to do this.

Quite frankly, I am sure that in hindsight Zimmerman thinks he should have stayed in the car. But the problem is that *at the time *getting out of the car to get more information from the police did not seem like a bad idea, precisely because Zimmerman did not think to himself that he was dealing with someone who would hide or double back and attack him.

Because Martin had way more than enough time to get back to where he was staying, and even told Rachel Jeantel that he was close to home.

Get information for the police. Lol. Angela Landsbury is on the case.

The biggest mistake made here was Martin’s when he committed a crime by straddling Zimmerman and bashing his head against the sidewalk. No one talks about that mistake.
Getting information for the police?? Lol. Angela Landsberry.

In all honestlly i usually laugh at the ppl saying that to me… guess what race that usually says it tho ?

Annnd they definetly mean it in a deragotry way.
Cracker does not have the history or the meaning that the n word does. I chuckle if someone calls me cracker because it means nothing to me.

Thankfully, I cant say that I’ve ever been called a cracker, at least not that I know of. But if one is racist, they’re both racist.
The black community wanted to make this trial be about racism yet the only racist words uttered, as far as I’ve heard was Rachel Jeantel and Trayvon. Go figure.

Ok I am going to shut it down now. Sadly I think that we have allowed this one case to divide many of us as Catholics. Many if us have allowed this case to cause us to forget what is important in this life and the next. Personally I am sad today because one of our priests has lost his duties in our Parrish to go deal with his alcoholism so I am going pray for him. I am sorry to all I have offended. Please let’s keep it all in perspective. God bless.

Is there anyone here that truly would not feel it’s creepy to be followed? I would.

Why did he leave his car? Was it because “these a-holes” always get away? I’m going to guess who “these a-holes” are.
It seems a racial bias to claim the statement specified a race when one cannot find a racial qualifier in the words.
