Blah. Let the race baiting begin. And with piers it will all about the gun i’m willing to bet… at any rate… not gonna watch.
Zimmerman could have turned the other cheek by staying in his car and letting the police do the job of finding his perceived “suspect”By that logic, should we not turn the other cheek even if GZ is guilty as you falsely believe him to be? Turn the other cheek and let him alone, right?
And Trayvon could have not beat the **** out of Zimmerman. How come no one brings that up? Your actions have consequences.Zimmerman could have turned the other cheek by staying in his car and letting the police do the job of finding his perceived “suspect”
As a firearm owner, I would love to know an honest answer whether Z would have followed M if Z was not armed. If the answer is no, then Z should not have followed even while armed.
Does that apply here? This didn’t take long to find:

*Community members only serve as the extra “eyes and ears” of law enforcement. They should report their observations of suspicious activities to law enforcement; however, citizens should never try to take action on those observations. Trained law enforcement should be the only ones ever to take action based on observations of suspicious activities. *
Had Mr. Zimmerman not taken the action he did, Martin would not be dead and he would not be dealing with this mess. Yes, the same can be said for Trayvon Martin. Oh well. Guns often give men a feeling of safety that exceeds their competence.
When I carry a weapon I generally remember it is there.Well now… how would he know whether he was armed ???
I would honestly like to know how many people actually believe that Zimmerman continued to follow Martin. As a firearm owner, I would love to know an honest answer whether Z would have followed M if Z was not armed. If the answer is no, then Z should not have followed even while armed.
unbelievable post… so sad and unfortunate. The “problem” with young males is that their testosterone and bodies are developed but their impulse control is not. This is a reason more young men are involved in high risk activities, crime, drugs and violence. Apparently the part of the brain that regulates impulse control isn’t developed until the mid 20s.
So yes Martin was young as far as emotional maturity. But he was virtually an adult when it came to height, strength and physical ability. His history which was NOT allowed into the court room included drugs and a strong suspicion he was involved in a robbery.
He was not the little angel that the race baiters and the prosecution kept pushing. If I saw that sweet baby big brown eyes picture one more time I thought I was going to throw something through the TV screen. How about the one with the snarl and the gang signs?

Yes my thoughts, too. You sound like a very responsible firearm owner to me.As a firearm owner, I would love to know an honest answer whether Z would have followed M if Z was not armed. If the answer is no, then Z should not have followed even while armed.
Why would a young boy suddenly beat the **** out of Zimmerman? How would you feel to be racially profiled and stalked by someone who was acting like an authority figure carrying a gun just for being a neighborhood watch volunteer? Zimmerman’s made many calls to 911 and have said again and again that there was a black man in the neighborhood? Was Trayvon Martin terrorizing the neighborhood? Did he kill anyone? Did he rob a house, store or anyone? What crime did he do to Zimmerman to be pursued other than for being a black man wearing a hood? And Trayvon could have not beat the **** out of Zimmerman. How come no one brings that up? Your actions have consequences.
Exactly!Zimmerman could have turned the other cheek by staying in his car and letting the police do the job of finding his perceived “suspect”
This is my question as well. I don’t think he continued to follow Martin. He testified Martib ran off. Jeantel said he ran and that he no longer had contact with Zimmerman. Zimmerman remained on the phone talking to the dispatcher long after he reported Martin running and that “these punks always get away…” not “I’m going after him!”I would honestly like to know how many people actually believe that Zimmerman continued to follow Martin.![]()
And because he didn’t he is legally guilty of what?Exactly!![]()
I think the salient point is that GZ has been acquitted of the criminal charges. In my opinion, that should end it and our voyeuristic society should move on…I may be wrong, but I have the feeling that you agree. This is my question as well. I don’t think he continued to follow Martin. He testified Martib ran off. Jeantel said he ran and that he no longer had contact with Zimmerman. Zimmerman remained on the phone talking to the dispatcher long after he reported Martin running and that “these punks always get away…” not “I’m going after him!”
I think when out of his car getting the address he likely looked around to see if Martin were still in view. According to Zimmerman he wasn’t and he returned toward the car but was confronted.
Thus the fight and Martin’s death.
I do NOT think Martin followed him, ran after him, tracked him down or whatever language is being used to put the blame on Zimmerman.
I’d like to see evidence to the contrary. All I hear are speculations and assumptions and manufactured “what if” scenarios.

If I was being followed like that in my own neighborhood, I would do the same thing. TM must have thought Zimmerman was a stalker and out to get him. How would you feel if someone was stalking you in your own neighborhood? This is my question as well. I don’t think he continued to follow Martin. He testified Martib ran off. What relevance does how someone would “feel” have to whether Zimmerman was guilty or innocent? If I was being followed like that in my own neighborhood, I would do the same thing. TM must have thought Zimmerman was a stalker and out to get him. How would you feel if someone was stalking you in your own neighborhood?
He killed a human being. Zimmerman racially profiled someone, carried a gun with a permit which had given him the confidence to chase Trayvon that scare the *** out of Trayvon… That boy was scared and was angry to be stalked. Trayvon Martin’s life was in danger and acted in self defense. He didn’t know that this nutbag had a gun.And because he didn’t he is legally guilty of what?
What relevance does this have as to whether Zimmerman was legally guilty or innocent? One can object to Zimmerman’s actions and still realize he did nothing illegal…He killed a human being. Zimmerman racially profiled someone, carried a gun with a permit which had given him the confidence to chase Trayvon that scare the *** out of Trayvon… That boy was scared and was angry to be stalked. Trayvon Martin’s life was in danger and acted in self defense. He didn’t know that this nutbag had a gun.
