Thank you, Tigre. That link dispels much of my confusion, and it explains the matter enough to see that there is no change in Church teaching: The Church and Judaism cannot be represented as “two parallel ways to salvation”.
If the OP repeats the actual words of Vatican Radio that “the Second Vatican Council changed Christian teachings toward Judaism and the Jewish people”, it’s easy to see why a lot of people were misled about what the Vatican’s Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews recently said.
