for what I know there are three bigest differences . I’ m orthodox too. The filoque , if the the holy spirit comes from the Father and Son as the Catholics believe or if it comes only from the Father as the Orthodox believe. Second the immaculate conception of Maria : for the Catholics She was born without the original sin , for the orthodox also She had the original sin , but She never sined in her life She has been vergin all her life with Her strength and with the help of God. Third orthodox don’t have a pope . The Pope is for the Orthodox “only” the Bishop of Rome.
I think on Maria the Catholics have a better teological view. For the filoque I don’t Know , for the pope is good that Catholics have a Father who takes important decisions, but I don’ t know if he can be called infallible, for the orthodox only Jesus is infallible. It depends, he is infallible in truth of faith but orthodox take this dogma as wanting more power.Sorry for my english too.The important is that we are all Christians and our Churches are both apostolic, than they split in 1054 more for political reasons than teological reasons. God bless you all.
