According to Muslim practice, he had to be buried within 24 hours of death, and no country was willing to let us bury him there. Hence the burial at sea.
Hope the fish survive.
Hope the fish survive.
I, like you, do not gloat over any man’s death. As to uproar over Arabic states, you know what, I’ve had it with their uproars and protests. Somebody eating a ham sandwich in DesMoines with a Koran in the room causes an uproar in the Arabic states. Let 'em uproar. I’m over their childish balogna.I hope this development does not cause an uproar in the Arabic states. While not rejoicing in any man’s death, I hope that the evil he could cause will be avoided by this military action.
Yeah, I am suspicious. Somebody even it on a UK televison show, about the timing and Obama’s approval ratings, and this was on a liberal talk show.Seriously?![]()
My feelings too. My reaction was more of “Whoa!..wow…” I don’t feel like celebrating…I feel kinda…melancholy (not sad)…contemplative over his existence and what he did…and just having this overwhelming urge to pray.I totally agree with you, Whitacre_Girl.
I am not in any way shape or form sad the SOB is dead, but I’m not glad and overjoyed, either.
This brings back memories of that day ten years ago----the hatred, the anger, etc. Right now, I don’t fell that, though. I’m glad the SOB will not get to hurt and kill any more people anymore, but at the same time, the War on Terror is not over, and we still have a long way to go.
Ultimately, his fate is now in the hands of God. I have a feeling it will not go down well. But I will still pray for his soul.
The way he died still does not do justice to the thousands of people he killed---------the things that he died deserved something more "hurtful."I would rather be a candlelight vigil for this guy’s victims-----but again, I DO agree this is a happy day in sense for our brave men and women.
May God have mercy on his soul.
I do too. What a tragic. fallen world we live in.My feelings too. My reaction was more of “Whoa!..wow…” I don’t feel like celebrating…I feel kinda…melancholy (not sad)…contemplative over his existence and what he did…and just having this overwhelming urge to pray.
That is totally ridiculous. It’s way too long until the election.Yeah, I am suspicious. Somebody even it on a UK televison show, about the timing and Obama’s approval ratings, and this was on a liberal talk show.
Right there with youMy feelings too. My reaction was more of “Whoa!..wow…” I don’t feel like celebrating…I feel kinda…melancholy (not sad)…contemplative over his existence and what he did…and just having this overwhelming urge to pray.
First thing I thought when I heard the announcement.Ding-dong…
We are not necessarily celebrating his death, but rather, we are celebrating that justice has finally been done. The decision was made 10 years ago to hunt down this man and make him pay for his crimes against humanity. It is right and proper for us to rejoice that the mission has been accomplished.I couldn’t say it better myself. No matter what a person did in this life and whether his death is justified or not, it is never acceptable or charitable to celebrate his death. We must all pray for his soul.
Easy to say. Did you know where he was? Do you think the Brits knew where he was? Rash statement. If I had been the president in 2001 I would have obliterated bin Laden within a year’s time… I would have given Tony Blair the money and told him to put the British Ghurka’s on it. Clean and sanitary solution. I have been saying that for years. Look at how long it took. How much better would it have been handled my way…?!
My point…
It could have been… and should have been handled more quickly…
This will now be shown as a reason to show Obama is good on national security, when he had 37% approval on national security. That is totally ridiculous. It’s way too long until the election.
I’ve heard two different stories from two different networks this morning.Hmmm…why didn’t they capture him and put him on trial? There will probably be a bunch of people hailing him as a martyr now.
He resisted arrest and started shooting at them. If you shoot at a Navy SEAL you end up dead.Hmmm…why didn’t they capture him and put him on trial? There will probably be a bunch of people hailing him as a martyr now.
