Legalized ss marriage was part of the gay agenda. That was accomplished. Normalizing gayness is another aspect. That was accomplished. Pushing acceptance for gay lifestyle in schools and among children - that’s all part of it.
There’s a bit more but it’s moving on to trans-agenda. Redefinition of categories of man and woman, redefining words, outlawing various concepts. It’s social manipulation all completed with the gay agenda now just moving to the next phase. You now can get punished for not hiring or housing gays, for example. So there are punitive aspects.

You are missing my point.
They are not trying to destroy anything as much as not be destroyed by society. If you don’t want to be LGBT then cool, just don’t force others.
They’re destroying the ideas that:
  1. Reproductive sex is better morally and for society than other forms of sexual gratification.
  2. Children should ideally live with their mother and father.
  3. Marriage has a societal function that has to do with the above.

I’m not saying there’s a cabal of gays and their allies in some secret room somewhere putting all this together
I think magazines and gay associations - often aligned with marxist revolutionary goals (overtly or not) are sort of a cabal doing this sort of thing.

You yourself realize that the second point is not part of the gay agenda, so why state it?

As to the first point, I don’t think it is so much a matter of sin or not sin, but rather the freedom of choice to lead whichever sexual lifestyle one chooses so long as it does not harm others, regardless of a given religion’s prohibition. And also the assurance that one will not be punished for exercising this personal freedom.
And I’d add that at least in most cases the first one isn’t true either.

Most gays respect your right to hold your beliefs; your right to believe that certain things are sins, your right to teach your children what your faith teaches are sins.

Maybe so, but the “gay agenda” wants to teach kids in school that birth control, fornication, masturbation, homosexal & bisexual acts are all healthy expresions of individuality & not at all sinful.

That’s what we have issues with. Public schools should not be promoting birth control, fornication, masturbation, or any other sexual acts.

NOW, that doesn’t mean they have to only teach abstinence, but they should be at least stressing to kids that sex outside of marriage greatly increases their chances of divorce, sex addiction, STDs, depression, etc. There is a reason why sex has historically been viewed as something between couples committed to having children together (even before Christianity).

This is litterly the first I heard about it. I have a transgender nephew, so his friends are your stereotypical LGBT as it gets.
Not once has their desire been to tell others how to have sex or who to love
This isn’t what I meant. I mean the idea that reproductive sex is to be preferred over other forms of sex.

I read somewhere the other day that with revolutionaries, Marxist or otherwise, “the issue is never the issue — the revolution is the issue”. Certain forces in our society are doing a masterful job of corralling together many different interests and identity groups, getting them to band together and support each other’s agendas, all in the name of seizing power and keeping power. The Democratic party has this down to a science. Pure Alinsky thought.

You can have the freedom to hate what gay people do. But also understand that gay people have the freedom to do what they do sexually, including pushing for normalization of their behavior. They even have the freedom to call you bigoted, as you do to call them immoral and protest the movement to normalize their behavior.

Just as on the religious front, you have the freedom to evangelize; but others have the freedom to resist your evangelization.

I do not believe gay people encourage others to ‘explore their gay side.’

Exactly. That does seem to be the process - a continual disruption and attack with the goal of getting and keeping power. They keep power by staying in the news. They stay in the news by destroying things, and all of that is justified in the name of progress.

If I am bigoted, then the Catholic Faith is bigoted.

Legally, in the public forum, of course they have these “rights” and “freedoms” (and so do I). In the Eyes of God, that’s another story. In another hundred years, every one of us will finally know who was right, and who was wrong.

Yes, private thoughts are allowed. I’ll grant you that.

Children’s books are written with the purpose of loving others who are different from oneself. They are not written trying to convert others to one’s own sexual side.

It’s impossible to judge motives. But drag queens are now giving story hours to kids. But there’s no aspect of wanting kids to model the same behavior?

This is done because of the reality that many young people do engage in premarital sex, and if they do, at least they should do so more safely. It is not, however, encouraging young people to have sex although I can understand how some young people might interpret it that way.

So you believe there is a gay agenda with almost no following?

Are the Marxists you talk about only the leaders of the gay agenda or also the followers?
  1. I didn’t say they have no following. Like all movements and agenda, there are plenty of people who become allies to an agenda or movement without accepting everything the agenda stands for.
  2. The Marxists are both. Some are straight & some are gay and Marxist. And some leaders do not ever realize that they are being influenced by Marxists.
What do the “gay agenda,” Black Lives Matter, “Catholics for Choice,” the Southern Law Poverty Center, the Woman’s March, etc all have in common? They use Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. The founder of Black Lives Matter, for example, has even proudly proclaimed that she is a Marxist.

Do all gays, women, blacks, heretical Catholics, etc all agree with everything Saul Alinsky says or Marxism? Of course not.

But that doesn’t mean that so called leaders of these movements do not have socialist and/or marxist tendencies.

There’s another thread, perhaps closed now, on this topic. Acceptance is the key here, not conversion.

They are when they are read to Kindergarteners in a public school by a lesbian teacher who tells the kids about her wife.

Perhaps but since they’ve stripped away the right to pray in public schools or even discuss God then they have no right to push to normalize their behavior via indoctrination in public schools, either.
