I merely corroborated the claim Israel (particularly Tel Aviv) is a large sex traffic center. However it is by no means the only one, and focusing just on one place is missing the global nature of the problem. The (now deleted) post seemed motivated more by anti-semitism anyway.

Simply having sex with a child does not make someone a pedophile under the narrow psychological definition. That is what this psych is saying. And he should know, he’s been evaluating creeps like this for 30 years. He is not condoning his actions. He was doing an evaluation. The label that some psych sticks on someone doesn’t change their actions or the right or wrong of those actions. All it does is point professionals in the direction of treating those individuals.

Troung doesn’t appear to accept what he did was wrong at all. Thankfully he will be in jail for a very long time. Hopefully long enough for him to realize what he’s done and ask for forgiveness. (I don’t believe his apology is sincere at all.)

All this has made me really realize that there are a lot of bad people out there. I will be more cautious with strangers. I thought for a moment, that I could have met this Russian mechanic and had been friendly to him and nice and civilize and may not have realized what a monster he is. I’m going to be more cautious and reserved in my dealings with strangers. We make the mistake of judging/sizing up others by who we are and if we do that we will not see a lot of things coming. It’s best to be objective with strangers. I just raised to sons and being a parent all these years has made me from nurturing and loving in all aspects of my life, but this needs to be kept where it must. The reigns need to be pulled from certain directions, e.g. strangers.

Gosh, and 5,200 Pentagon employees have purchased child pornography and the authorities have turned a blind eye. Why, because some of the ‘authorities’ are involved? This is so sick.

The psychiatrist is inexcusably sick too. She has lost perception of reality. She needs to be examined.

Are you actually surprised by Pentagon employees being involved in this sort of thing? Who do you think runs and actively controls the major worldwide child sex rings? It is powerful politicians, people in the entertainment industry, CEOs and other powerful business leaders, mostly from the US, but also many other countries too, the problem is, these people are above the law, thats why we only see lower level pedophiles being targets of investigations, law enforcement knows it cannot go after the ones at the top.

Yeah, except that the age of consent has slowly but surely crept upwards over time almost universally in western countries with children generally being considered less and less to be able to give any sort of consent for sex or much of anything else under any circumstances. The whole idea that it’s going to be legal and/or socially acceptable for a 40 year old to molest a 6 year old at any foreseeable point of time is just way, way out there. I can’t figure out how it’s going to occur.

Several if not all of the talks at the event had to do with declassifying pedophilia as a paraphilia from the DSM.

Seriously, a third hand account of one psychiatric conference in 2011 is your evidence of this? You can claim anything and everything will become legal by this standard, because someone, somewhere, will advocate for something outlandish, no matter how outrageous. You can get 5% of the U.S. population to believe any crazy thing. That does not give it any wider consequence. Age of consent laws are well-tested, a bedrock of the legal system, and going nowhere.
