Palestinian-Israeli Conflict

This is what radical muslims need to learn. Unlike us christians (not all), we see victims on both sides, we feel compassion on both sides, even to those who started the fight. Unless they see fault in the actions of their fellow muslims, this war will rage on for the next generations.
As I see here Muslims have already made up there mind about whom they support in this war regardless of who is right or wrong. Muslim posters seem to be only parroting their propaganda and most probably they are addressing Muslims audience because there is no way we can agree with Hamas and their ideology.

But Muslims themselves are divided. So perhaps there is effort to garner support from among Muslims to the radical camp. Just yesterday the Palestinian Prime Minister openly did not regret the death of the senior Hamas leader who was killed by Israeli missile. Egypt and Saudi Arabia refused to attend the Arabs summit in Doha, Qatar. The radicals are supported by Iran and its Arab lackey Syria.

But for Muslims to try to justify Hamas, it is simply not persuasive among non-Muslims. America will not allow Israel to be destroyed and so are most non-Muslim nations though a few could be tempted by Arab oil.

War will rage on and more lives will be sacrificed. No nation would want a neighbor whose national aspiration is for its disappearance. Israel cannot allow that and so are the Western nations. Thanks to Islam we will see more death and destruction in the Middle East.

Even the State Department rejected that plan, the 1947 partition plan.
Please relate to what I wrote instead of trying to change the subject. There was a plan for peace, which the Arabs rejected - they wanted it all and would not tolerate infidels ruling what they considered “their land”…

Palestinians have been living in Palestine for centuries. The Arabs living in Palestine (who we call Palestinians!) accepted the immigration of the Jews while every other nation of the world was turning them away, including the USA.
Untrue, and repeating it doesn’t make it true.
Moreover, Palestine was also known as Palestine before the 1967 war, it was even known as Palestine in the Balfour Declaration which was written in 1917.
Yeah, the area was known as “Palestine” even in Roman times. That is not what I’m talking about, and you bleedin’ well know it. What I’m talking about is this illusion of a “Palestinian” identity which supposedly is completely different from Jordanian, Egyptian, etc.
And yes, the Arabs began to revolt after a while because there were just so many immigrants coming. Americans do the same.
Then please spare me the “We took them in while no one else did”-****.
A lot? How much do you think is a lot? Do you realize that there was a boat full of Jews which sailed to the United States and was turned away? Turned away from Europe, from the US, even from South America.
And from the Palestine-mandate.
Had to return to Germany where they were killed. :bighanky:
Yeah, I bet you’re really sorry about that
Second class citizens. Homes demolished. Imprisoned.
BS. The Israeli Arabs are granted exactly the same rights as all other Israeli citizens, and enjoy the same protection.
That was the worst thing they could have done, sending their Jews away. Stupid, stupid, stupid. But that doesn’t mean that Israelis have any right whatsoever to kick out Palestinians from their homes.
You’re (purposefully?) not relating to my point.
This conflict could have been over if the Arab neighbor states had done what Israel had done - integrated the so-called “Palestinians”, who they had persuaded to flee, into their societies. They didn’t.
It’s not really. Not if you look at what Israel is actually doing to Palestinians, all their propaganda. Look at what the UN keeps saying they’re doing, but what they keep getting away with. War crimes. They want the Palestinians out of Israel altogether, which isn’t fair, not in any book.
BS. Israel is not exterminating Arabs, and the only place that is true is in the sick, twisted minds of islamic terrorists and their supporters.
The UN has no credibility whatsoever. It is the lapdog of the Arabs, and everyone who doesn’t have an agenda knows this.
Look at the 1.5 million who are living in a cage, an open-air prison, denied access to electricity, water, food, and medicine.
Methinks I see a pattern here. Every time you’re up against the wall, you try changing the subject and hope I fall for it.
Not gonna happen.
Those 1,5 million living in Gaza are NOT Israeli citizens, and therefore have no relevance to what I pointed out: That the Arabs who chose to stay in Israel after its proclamation was granted the same rights and priviledges as Jewish Israelis. Please stay on topic, if you’re able to.
There is no such effort being made. In case you didn’t realize it yet, the Israeli military can’t even distinguish between the Red Cross and “combatants.” Are they really that dense? Do they think a UN aid boat in the mediterranean are also “combatants?” They aren’t making an effort. If they were they wouldn’t be hitting the UN, the Red Cross, schools, hospitals, and over 400 women and children.
If they weren’t, the civilian casualties would be in the tens of thousands, because they would then just fire at random like Hamas does.
If the Hamas are using the Red Cross, and UN buildings to attack the IDF from (which they are), then the blame lies squarely on the shoulders of those pigs in Hamas, not on Israel.
Nah. They need to be able to get away with it. Building that machine takes times.
You’re contradicting yourself, and the funny part is that you’re probably too dense to see it yourself. :rotfl:
BS
Just because you don’t want to believe it doesn’t make it false.
And just because you want it to be true, it doesn’t make it so.

In Darfur or anywhere in the world , if u kill innocent people , nobody will say that it’s your right to do so. In Palestine , more than 350 children are dead . Israeli soldiers also preventing family members to bury the dead bodies.
Gaza waged war on Israel, and placed their military bases within hospitals, schools, mosques, and homes. Israel of course has a right to defend itself. The guilt for killing those innocents rests in the hands of the elected gazan government and the people who voted for it.
Moreover , Israeli people believes they have God given rights to do these cruelties & neither in this world nor in hereafter , they will be punished. Is not this attitude very dangerous ?
What’s really scary is that muslims apparently see nothign wrong with putting a military bunker under a hospital or in a school full of children. They are blind to such atrocities as long as they are done by muslims. No one will respect a religion that refuses to admit this is wrong.

I’m not an expert, but I have taken two classes on US Foreign Policy during the Cold War, one semester was devoted entirely to the Middle East, and I’ve written two papers on the beginnings of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on original source documents, nothing from Hamas.
Oh thats impressive. I’ve studied the issue on my own, no formal education. I used to be very anti-Israeli pro-Palestinian which of course requires a lot of your own study since the media doesn’t help much.
Palestinians have been living in Palestine for centuries. The Arabs living in Palestine (who we call Palestinians!) accepted the immigration of the Jews while every other nation of the world was turning them away, including the USA. Moreover, Palestine was also known as Palestine before the 1967 war, it was even known as Palestine in the Balfour Declaration which was written in 1917. Go read it. “non-Jewish communities” means Palestinian Christians and Muslims. FYI.
I think we all know that the region was called Palestine. The point was that it was just a region within the Ottoman empire, and the people living there did not identify themselves with that area of land. They considered themselves arabs, and happened to live in a region called palestine. For example, I consider myself a Canadian, not an Ontarian, even though I live in the province of Ontario. Ontario is just where I live, its not who I am. Similar thing with most states, although in Texas I guess some people identify themselves by the state they live in.

Another point is that the Gazans include Christians. So we’ve risen above siding with our own religion, tried to look at the facts, and taken a side with the enemy of Christians who live in gaza. It’s because we believe we have to look at the situation objectively, not just take side with our own brothers. If they aer wrong, we must say it, and be truthful. We also did that in Kosovo, where we took the side of the muslims against the Christian serbs. I hope you credit us with that. Would you ever do the same?

Enough!

Someone must stop Israel’s rampant madness in Gaza

The following is an interesting excerpt from an article in the source you cited above.

"Palestinian sources reported Thursday that the “Iranian Unit” of Hamas, members of the group’s military wing trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, had been destroyed.

According to the sources, most of the unit’s members were killed in fighting in the Zeytun neighborhood, where they had been deployed by the military leadership of Hamas.
The unit numbered approximately 100 men who had traveled to Iran and Hezbollah camps, mostly in the Beka’a Valley, where they were trained in infantry fighting tactics. The militants were also trained in the use of anti-tank missiles, the detonation of explosives, among other skills.

They managed to return to the Gaza Strip through tunnels in the Rafah border area, although a few also crossed during one of the few times that Egypt agreed to open the border crossing as a gesture of good will to Hamas.

The same sources also noted that Iran is preparing for an end to the fighting, at which point they want to send money to the Gaza Strip in order to assist Hamas in rebuilding destroyed homes - but also restore its military capabilities."

Which is helpful in explaining both why Hamas insists on “open borders” and why Israel will not agree to that.

Muslims were not responsible for the Holocast.

.
No, sick minded Hitler was - but he did have a muslim brigade, remember them? I do from History class.

The Muslim Nazi 13th division of SS - 30,000 muslim troops and one of their jobs was to gather up Jews for kill or concenstration camps.

FREE FREE PALESTINE!!!

Hello everyone, i am a proud supporter of Palestine. What Israel and America have done to them are just Atrocious!!! SHAME!

“Israel, USA, how many kids have you killed today?!!!” To Israel: Dear murderers, how much more land do you wish to take over today? Would you care to kill some more civilians?

I write with passion, and as a Catholic, i urge you seek who is the victim here.

Hamas is doing what it has every right to do: resisit an occupying army. But when you face F16’s, Apache Helicopters what else do you expect Hamas to do? Throw rocks? Them firing rockets is nothing compared to the utter humiliation the Palestinian people face.

This is a matter of Western Hypocrisy, weren’t the U.S “permitted” to drop 2 (two) NUCLEAR BOMBS IN HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI? ! … the utter destruction of Dresden?

Israel does not want to seek peace, they refuse to negotiate with Hamas.

I live in Australia, but am completely ashamed of my Country for also supporting this murderous, racist state: Israel.

FREE PALESTINE~!

If you remember your history class, we, the US were sitting quitely when Japan bombed Hawaii - specifically Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu - which dragged us into WWII -
The actual surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by the Empire of Japan on December 7, 1941 brought the United States into World War II.

Here is some muslim hypocracy:

muslim hypocrits

This video brings out the atrocities of muslims that have killed muslims and they sit back and just let it happen. They don’t take to the streets at all, not a peep out of them. Oh, I guess when the Quwaitis were being threatened they ran like little girls wailing and crying for us to help them - but no one else bothered.

And the Israelis did not steal the land - it even says so in their own koran, per their own allah.

The land was stolen from Palestine - true or False?

You compare the Palestinians to us?!?! If you do that then you should be bringing in the Hamas, and the other Arabs from Saudi Arabia, as comparable to the Japanese then.

The Israelis told the Pals that they didn’t have to leave just before the 6 Day War - and the Arabs did tell them to leave. Some Pals did not leave and are still living inside of Israel. The Arabs told the Pals who left they would take care of them - and they did not. Instead they have been using them as cannon fodder ever since.

If I have read your note wrong then just let me know - but comparing the palestinians to the USA is not even accurate.

Excuse me, Dear sir R_Not

Saying that the Palestinians weren’t forced out is a matter of complete rubbish. If you recall:

According to the late Yitzhak Rabin, the first Israeli Prime Minister made clear early on in the establishment of the State of Israel his wish to expel the Palestinian population to make way for the Zionist State. Rabin relates that: “We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, ‘What is to be done with the Palestinian population?’ Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said ‘Drive them out!’”[31] Israel’s first Minister of Education Professor Ben-Zion Dinur echoed Ben-Gurion’s sentiments when he declared in 1954: “In our country there is room only for the Jews. We shall say to the Arabs: Get out! If they don’t agree, if they resist, we shall drive them out by force.”

Your right, we should not compare Palestine to Israel and USA. But that’s because the USA and Israel are in a different league and nothing but a bunch of vermin rodents.

Ben-Gurion believed that the sparsely populated and barren Negev desert offered a great opportunity for the Jews to settle in Palestine with minimal obstruction of the Arab population. He saw the struggle to make the desert bloom as an area where the Jewish people could make a major contribution to humanity as a whole

But that’s because the USA and Israel are in a different league and nothing but a bunch of vermin rodents.
Not a Catholic expression. Doesn’t really sound Aussie either. On the whole, the posts don’t even sound western. Got a feeling this guy has either mastered Jihadi talk and is using it to be a troll, or is Islamic all the way, and not in Aus either.

Than analogy works perfectly. For some reason, however, when I read it my eyes immediately rolled so far back in my head that I noticed my caboose was getting way to big.

I am catholic and i am Australian, our friend (name removed by moderator) would know;) . If you call me a Jihadi, so be it, (who is Athir Sio…???)

i’m just a teenager ok:confused:

It’s very hard to submit a “charitable” reply in most cases for this reason:

My dear dad would warn me with a warm smile and say, “Pamela, when discussing politics and religion be prepared, not everyone sees others beliefs and opinions”…

Hamas which we all know is a terrorist group. Since you already have a computer I’m sure you might venture out to youtube once in a while.

I will submit these videos for you review regarding Hamas and how they teach their children.
