It’s got to do with making everything accessible here. Just in case.

We have bathrooms that aren’t built that way, though. That’s just the norm.

You’d be hard pressed to get out of or into a stall by crawling under the wall. There’s not enough space.

Here, easy to go over or under or just see what’s going on.

Regarding same sex adoption, I know three boys who are suing the Australian system because they were given to two women, rather then a normal nuclear family.

Things aren’t all warm and fuzzy here.

I’m afraid I haven’t heard of that and a quick Google didn’t bring up the story?

I know these kids, now young men, personally.

It will no doubt reach the media at the appropriate time, or be surpressed.

It will be opening the foster care and adoption system floodgates to cases like this.

Ah, that came out during the Marriage Equality debates. One can find someone to oppose anything, there were women (And still are) who oppose the right of women to vote. Most children raised in same sex households saw no reason to protest this, most were a tad busy protesting for the Yes vote.

That’s fine. Kids have disagreed with their parents since time immemorial.

Folks disagreeing with other folks. Often times kids disagree with their parents.

It’s slightly more then disagreeing with your folks. If we truly live and breathe respect , we must listen to how being brought up in that environment affected these boys. And they aren’t alone.

Eh, people have divorced their parents and we didn’t declare parenthood invalid. Nor do all the parents who disown their gay kids.

I’m sure some folks didn’t like it but from the studies kids of same sex homes seem quite emotionally healthy.

It’s almost as though you’re disqualifying what they felt are their legitimate concerns. As they’ve grown up in that situation, I think they’re the experts here.

It doesn’t fit the wanted narrative, though. Does that mean they’re just “looking for something to complain about” because they wish they’d had two opposite sex parents? That’s hardly fair.

It’s not about divorcing their parents,

Clearly there are big problems. If there weren’t big problems, There would be no case to answer, now would there.

Things that came out during the vote, from either side, weren’t exactly known for their lack of bias or trustworthiness. Organisations on both sides were dredging up people to fulfil a narrative.

I’m bit saying they’re lying. But I am untrusting of things that came out during that period.

I think there would. This is hardly the first time ac child has disagreed with their parents lifestyle and said it harmed them. The amount of gay teens who have had to divorce or in other ways remove themselves from Christian families due to those lifestyles springs to mind.

I wonder if there will be legal cases from children pushed into trans procedures they were too young to understand by parents who though it was trendy.

So you don’t think these young men are owed the respect to listen to why it was so wrong, in their opinion, to deny them a male father figure?

It’s a failure of our government to deny these young men a father.
