Indeed there are many other options. And not all Christian faiths believe taking the wager would work. I’m a trial member and not yet allowed to post images, but here a link to a handy chart showing the various outcomes suggested by various religions if you did not believe but acted as if you did.
If the odds of each religion being true were equal it might make sense to choose one for which pretending promised bliss and not believing eternal hell. But I’ve yet to see anything that convinces me that the odd of there being a god are good let alone that the Catholic one exists. In fact the various contradictions in the Bible and Christian teaching convince me that the Christian god either does not exist or is rather different Christians think he is.
And it’s not as practicing a religion is a cost free activity. It requires time, effort, and in many cases money, not to mention acting in ways that I might find morally wrong.
