You answer me how does one condemn another who is already dead? You are the one who seems to be doing it. How could I condemn my Church by saying my Church is the living Christ. Jesus is a man Human And Divine. Jesus did not just die on the cross he took away death. There is no death. Jesus was not subject to anything. God is not subject to anything. The Church will never die. The Church was here since Jesus and will remain here until he comes again in glory. I understand you do not know our faith, but please do not try to teach something you cannot comprehend.
I do not know… how… to … respond. There is no making sense of what you are saying. Jesus did not die on the cross? Weren’t you all arguing with someone a while back that he did die? Did he or did he not? It can not be both ways.

He took away death? Are we living on the same planet because here on earth, the planet upon which I am existing, there is death. Jesus was a man. Man is subject the Laws of Nature… one of those Laws of Nature is that what is living will also die. It is not a bad thing. Why are you all afraid to die? You do not enjoy life so much anyway given that you all are focused on the “hereafter.” What will make that better? Because Christ is there? What is he waiting for? sighs I do wish he would hurry up and rescue his people from a world that would be better maintained by those who can think for themselves and who love the Life that they have been allowed a piece of.

And what would make you think that I am trying to teach your faith? You are right… I do not comprehend it. I can NOT grasp something that is ungraspable.

By the way, God’s chosen is still Israel… not the Church. 🙂 Isaiah 46 is rather an interesting read! Especially, “13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.” 🙂 I am glad that the Creator who has called me out does not lie and does not change as you would have us to believe. I am witness to the faithfulness that He has toward His children. Though I am not Jewish, I certainly can find comfort with a God that IS faithful to His first love. Why anyone would be envious rather than grateful toward such a loving Creator is beyond my comprehension.
The church is rich in Love, rich in faith, and rich in Jesus Christ. You again do not know the teachings of the Church, if you did you could not post what you post. You reject Jesus Christ. So as Jesus said you are either with me or against me. You are against Jesus, so if you are against Jesus you have to be against the Church, And if you are against the Church you are also against me. Because I stand proud with Jesus Christ. The Living Church. We believe in the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. 3 persons ONE IN BEING. You cannot accept one without the other. You cannot reject one without the other. THe one in being is GOD.
Yes, I will declare this very clearly so as to not startle you again in those moments when you actually are able to grasp a little bit the truth that I have been saying over and over:
  1. I DO NOT SEE ANY SENSE IN THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH. 🙂
  2. I REJECT THE WORSHIP OF MEN… AND DO NOT PRAY TO THOSE WHO ARE DEAD.
  3. I SUBSCRIBE TO THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS, BUT REJECT THE NOTIONS OF CHRIST THAT ARE ATTRIBUTED TO HIM.
  4. I AM FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE CHURCH AND THAT IS WHY I TRY TO SHARE THE TRUTH ABOUT LIFE WITH YOU BEFORE YOU WASTE THE LAST BIT THAT IS STILL IN YOUR POSSESSION.
  5. I TRUST GOD WHEN HE SAYS CLEARLY, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. AND I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. AND Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
🙂 I like that I do not have to live by the revealing of man, but rather that I am able to live in the knowledge of a VERY loving and faithful God who promotes the Life that He has created. 🙂

Sorry but that is not the teaching’s of Christ. Yes the chosen were Israel, That is in the OT. Saint John was sent from God, Read the gosepl according to St John. Children of God no longer have to be born from Israel. They are now Children of God through Baptism. The word became Flesh through Jesus Christ. That is when God became Man. Please do not act shocked you know this scripture better then I. You know as well as I that Jesus died on the cross and has risen. It has been told enough to you for the last month. You reject Jesus Christ and the teaching’s of Jesus Christ.

Read St John. THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS, JESUS CHRIST IS THE LIGHT THE DARKNESS IS THE WORLD. You are either of Jesus Christ or the world. So you choose the world which is the darkness. I choose Jesus Christ which is the light.

You have a choice, but at least have the guts to admit it. You again, reject Jesus Christ. You choose the darkness. You cannot say that you do not know the teachings of the Church they have been revealed to you. You just refuse to accept them. That us your choice. But as Christians we have done our best to reveal Jesus Christ to you. At least I know I did my best. 🤷

You choose the darkness.
Rinnie, how is it that I am choosing darkness? Darkness is to be in ignorance of God’s ways.

Isaiah 8:20 "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.’

Jesus confirmed this as well. .
Matthew 5:17-19
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
  1. Jesus was not the one responsible for the idolization of him, nor was he responsible for the spreading of the confusion to us, the non Jewish.
  2. I am a 100% supporter of the Law (gorgeous) and the testimony (my firm foundation). So, you have missed the target on this by saying that I am choosing the darkness; God, Isaiah, AND Jesus all confirm that I have rather chosen the light. 😉
  3. You speak something different… something foreign to the Law and the Testimony… the Church is your security… aka man’s testimony is good enough for you. God, Isaiah, and Jesus confirmed that you have not the light in you.
Isaiah 44:

Promise to me that I can trust God’s Word:
8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

Promise to me about the Church:
9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

After all, as you have admitted (I would not call it guts, but rather foolishness), the Church IS its own witness!

I have to tell you… I am so in Love with the Creator that He has given me a solid foundation… declared by Him long before the Church existed and that He promised that His counsel would stand.

I can not help to notice that out of all the people replying on this thread, I have done the most in the way of supporting my knowledge with the Scripture aka the Foundation… the one that was promised by God to not change on us. Why do you think that is, Rinnie? Do you not have Scripture to share when you claim that my God has changed His mind, lied, and given things to those who are corrupting it? Are you not at all capable of finding out where your belief system originated from? And are you really this careless with something so important, considering it is what you base your life on? 🙂

Okay answer me this. Straight up. Do you admit Jesus is inseparably true God and True Man?

No… Jesus was a man. A Jewish man. God is not a man and He specifically states this and Jesus, being Jewish, agreed. 🙂

CCC In the Greek translation of the OT the ineffable Hebrew name YHWH by which God revealed himself to Moses is rendered as Kyrios Lord. From then on Lord becomes the more usual name by which to indicate the divinity of Israels God. the NT uses this full sense for Jesus who is thereby recognized as God Himself.

What more do you want. Jesus is the Lord. The lord is our God the Lord is your God of the OT the Lord is Jesus Christ. That it pure and simple. To deny Jesus Christ is to deny God. How can you deny God and be in the light. ITs impossible.

John 4:
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 🙂
Yes he is he is the three persons in one God which I have told you a million. God is revealed in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We do worship him in the spirit of Turth. The Holy Spirit of truth to be exact.

short and sweet Rinnie, 🙂 show me Scripture where Jesus says that he is God. 🙂

I have so have others tons of times. You refuse to believe or accept it.

John 6:35 Jesus said I AM the bread of life.whoever comes to me will never hunger, will never thirst.

John 6:37-40 But I should raise him up on the last day.

John 8:12 I AM the light of the world.

John 8:58 Before Abraham came to be, I AM

John 13:13 You call me teacher and MASTER and RIGHTLY SO FOR INDEED I AM.

How much more scripture do you want.

Do you not get it I AM. I AM is God.

Uhmm… the best bet you have here is John 8:58 and even then, I do not see that he has called himself God. It could just as well be said, Before Abraham came to be, God. They were asking him how he knew how Abraham rejoiced concerning the enlightenment that Jesus was bringing since he was not around then… basically, Jesus was saying, “you do not know the Scriptures” speaking of a certain sect of Jews who were not to be enlightened, my guess being because they were not actually Jewish. 🙂 But that is merely speculation… still, that is how I read what Jesus was answering since Jesus was Jewish and knew that he was not God.

I complied with yours showing that Jesus agreed that God was not a man. Since God called Himself I AM, that is not technically Jesus saying that He was God. I want to see where Jesus called himself God. I showed you where he agreed that God was not a man… Jesus being a man, therefore could not be God. 🙂 Seems fairly simple to me.

No that does not cut it. Jesus said I AM. The jews knew quite well what he meant.

John 13:19 From now on I am tellling you before it happens so that when it happens you may believe that I AM.

That is what Jesus told them before he died on the cross, and came back again. He told them he must fullfill scriptures. Amen I say to you no slave is greater than his master nor any messenger greater then the one who sent him. If you understand this blessed are you if you do it. I am not speaking of all of you. I KNOW those WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN.

THat is why we are of the light. I came into the world as light so that everyone who believe in me might not remain in darkness. (how can you say you live in the light if you reject Jesus. Jesus said whoever reject me and does not accept my words has something to judge him, the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the Last day. Because I did not speak of my own but the father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life for what I say I say as the Father told me.

Mine says “… you may believe that I am he.”

Rinnie, my understanding of Jesus comes from Deuteronomy 27-29. Paul enacted the latter part… the curse (should mankind choose to worship an image). I do not believe that Jesus was God and I know that he is not because God gave us that warning… He is not a man… we are not to worship an image. I believe that there was a rabbi who brought enlightenment to the Laws of God and the testimony of God and I see that all but a remnant fell for great deceptions… not just the christians with Jesus, but the others with other men they perceived as godlike. Thus, I see the world is under a curse. This is my understanding of it thus far. Jesus cannot be God, else God is a liar. This is the promise… that He will not change (malachi 3:6)… this is where I place all my trust. If for one second, I doubt that promise, then I have nothing… for if Jesus is God, then God IS a liar… and I will not bother trying to trust a God that would play such cruel tricks on His creation. However, I do not fear that God is like that because I took hold of the allowance to ask for proof of Him as spoken of Malachi 4 and I received it in a way that was so personal and real that I can not and will not doubt Him.

I never received that from Jesus… and how could anyone… he was a man that served his purpose on earth quite well… and then he died. Jesus, that man, does not exist any longer and this is not a scary thing for me, but rather comforting to know that I can trust God… wholly, completely, fully, without doubt.

If Jesus is God, then God is a liar. It is that simple. I know that He, God, is not a liar and therefore, I know that Jesus was not God.

Honestly, He speaks it best for Himself. The concept of worrying about souls in regards to Life is silly. He makes His intentions quite clear and it was the main writer of the NT who set all this confusion into motion. You are caught in a web of destruction, Church supporters.

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. (by the way, the heaven is not referring to what it is you refer to as heaven).

Isaiah 45:
8Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
9Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
10Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
11Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
12I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
17But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Isaiah 48:
7They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

Jeremiah 31:
21Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
22How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
23Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

Following the Creator … or … Following the Church.

hmmmm… I’m gonna go with the Creator here. The Creator’s Ways are much nicer and understandable to me. They speak of Life and not death. 😉

As I said, I do NOT have the mind that you all do. I like using mine and in so doing, I am of the conclusion that it was not given without a purpose. Good luck in your quest for… uh, death? 🙂
Sure, the Church is following the Creator. We also believe that the Creator is much smarter than we are. So, if you say you understand the Creator, you are bringing yourself to the level of the Creator.

Proverbs 2:

1My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

2So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

3Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

4If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

5Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

6For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Are you calling God a liar? What I said does not go against this promise given by Him. 🙂

Moses thought so
Thank you darlin’… so, if ‘I AM’ = God, then Jesus was not making a confession that he was God; rather, he was saying that God existed prior to Abraham. If I AM is a Name for God, then you have no confession being made here. 🙂
