If this is the case (not being keen on the testimony) then you are in really bad shape. That narrative of Jesus’ words was produced by “sinners” who gave their human testimony to what they saw and heard. If you can’t be “keen” on it, then why are you bothering to read it?I kinda figure i maybe taking things out of context and i am poorly educated so please be gentle with me.
I am looking from a scripture point of view just in the narrated words of Jesus (pbwh).
I am not keen on the testimony of sinners, without disrespect to the and Gods goodness in them but we sinners make error.
Have you ever read what Paul wrote? If you do, you will find that he did not believe he was being duped by Satatn. He also did not believe that he was misleading Christ’s followers. Why is it important for you to believe Paul was an apostate?I dont know that Paul being tortured makes him right, he could have believed he was being duped by satan or more over having Jewish understanding believed it would be worth it to mislead Christ followers give his persecution was not making head way.
Jesus mission and humility as a human does not change the fact that He was God in the flesh.Paul seems to offer Jesus (pbwh) was equal to God but Jesus (pbwh) over and over says the Father sent me, i did not come of me, i only do as the Father shows etc.
Only the ceremonial law was abolished, since there was no longer a need for it. This is not from “Paul” but is the teaching of the Church. Paul taught as Jesus commissioned him, that the moral law is fufilled in Christ, and that we can also keep it by grace.Jesus (pbwh) says he came to fulfil the law and but Paul says he abolished it.
Done what? Recognized that God is reconciling the world to Himself throught the cross of Christ? Here is another doosy
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, …
…that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ…
Who is Paul?
Even Jesus (pbwh) has not done this.
Yes, Jesus did “do” that!
What you are saying is “Paul’s writings” is the Christian gospel, Steven. It was being preached and lived by Catholics long before Paul was even converted. Jesus is the pure lamb of God, sacrificed for our sins. In another thread I read where you are familiar with the Passover. If this is true, then you know that a spotless lamb was required for the sacrifice.God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Baloney Paul he is a sacrifice for our sins, he was given the pure spirit so is without sin
I think it will be difficult to help you with your misunderstanding in this area, because you do not understand what Christianity is all about.could you please help me by explaining your prayer inspiration on this

However, we can try. Mankind was separated from God by sin. Jesus shed His blood to cover the sins of the world. By His cross, where His spotless blood was shed to cover our sins, He reconciles the world to Himself. when we are baptized into Christ, we are baptized into His death. We embrace the cross, so that we can die to the lustful desires of the flesh and the world, and embrace eternal life.
