Today we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross which commemorates the discovery of the Cross by St. Helena, the mother of Constantine, in 320, and the dedication in 335 of the basilica built on Calvary by Constantine, which mark the site of the Crucifixion. - Church in Poland

@christofirst , I’ve been through Bakewell on the bus on my way to Norfolk .

So your eighth great grandfather is from the alleged home of the Bakewell Tart , and that doesn’t refer to a lady . 😉
