I belong to a traditonal Anglo-Catholic church where the tridentine mass is used. It’s the basically the same as the Latin mass except it’s in english of course. (anglican) 👍

Here’s the link with some photos.

Our priests where the beretta coming into church and the incense and bells are used as well as the three candles on each side and the priest faces the wall not the people. The people recieve communion at the rail by the priest and assisting priest. We genuflect on the right knee before sitting in our pews and chanting can be readily heard throught the service (gregorian-in english of course 👍 ) There’s an Our Lady Chapel-yes we believe in the ever-Virgin mother of God, the assumption, and coronation in heaven, many of our parishners even say the rosary. NO FEMALE PRIESTS or altar girls. NO homosexuals either. (that’s why they are not in communion with Canterbury because of the liberalism)

We have alot in common with the TLM’s. 🙂

You really don’t know a thing do you? CHRIST IS EVERYWHERE!!! NOT JUST IN THE TABERNACLE! So facing the people means he’s giving us the word and Jesus practically! There is no need to face the tabernacle. Have you guys ever thought that God wanted Vatican II instead of leaning to your preferences? I mean if he opposed it, then it wouldn’t be there now would it. And by proclaiming the word (which if you look in the bible, his apostles never had their backs talking to the people) Jesus becomes much more alive in the mass compared to the old mass. And it’s not a chat session because people should listen to the word(means be quiet in prayer and refection unless required to respond to the priest), , sing when needed and prepare themselves for recieving Jesus at the eucharist. Protestants chat as you say, we don’t(even in the Novus ordo, the only ones that talk are the ones who don’t listen or aren’t educated)

Wow: “You really don’t know a thing do you?” This is wrong, arrogant, and uncharitable. I hope the moderator sees this. Such comments should not be tolerated in a Catholic forum, is this what our faith teaches us?

“If He [God] opposed it it wouldn’t be there now would it” Oh really? So we don’t have free will? Did God want half the Church to be swallowed up by Islam? And more to be swallowed up by Protestantism? God allows things that he doesn’t necessarily want cause he allows us freedom to choose for him or against him.

Yes God is everywhere, but his presence is not the same “everywhere” as it is in the Holy Eucharist. This is basic theology my friend. He is SACRAMENTALLY present in the Holy Eucharist and the Eucharist has been the center of our worship since day one.

Now am I saying God did not want Vatican 2? Not at all, I’m just saying your logic is flawed to say that if God opposing something it will not happen. I’m sure God opposes much that goes on in the world but he allows it to happen.

I am a supporter of Vatican 2 DONE correctly, which you will have a hard time finding anywhere. I am also a supporter of the TLM Mass.

course Christ is everywhere - in spirit. But his PHYSICAL presence is in the Tabernacle. The priest is facing Christ when he faces the Tabernacle.

Here is one from my Church.

And here is one from when the Pittsburgh Latin Mass Community celebrated the TLM at our beautiful Cathedral (first time that had happened in over 30 years):

Many more can be seen on their website, linked in my signature.
I’ve been to the TLM mass at St. Boniface twice. How I wish I could go every Sunday! I live miles away and I just can’t make it that often. I wish I could find others in my area who wanted to drive together.

I live in Indiana, Pa. I can barely tolerate the NO mass at our church. However, two Sundays ago the choir sang “Ave Verum Corpus” How beautiful! I thought there was hope, but last Sunday, it was back to to the same old music - accompanied by a spritely-sounding flute. I almost walked out
