Disgusted, but not surprised. I was so angry about seeing that video, I actually posted it on my facebook page (I usually only use it to keep in touch with family and friends). The rep wasn’t even well-prepared. She sounded like an idiot trying to not answer the questions posed on her. God forbid she says that she had no objections giving care to a child born ALIVE who just endured and survived a harrowing experience.

(CNN) – Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus linked the women’s health provider Planned Parenthood to the killing of newborn children in an op-ed article published Wednesday on the conservative website RedState.com.
His article - under the headline “Media Covers up Democrat-Backed Planned Parenthood’s Support for Infanticide” - blasted the media for not covering the recent testimony of a Planned Parenthood representative in Florida, who provided veiled responses to questions from state lawmakers on what should happen to a baby born after a botched abortion.

UPDATE: Facing Backlash, Planned Parenthood Rejects the Scandalous Testimony of Their Own Spokesperson
Planned Parenthood spokesperson Alisa LaPolt Snow is a catholic.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn’t a Catholic forbiddent to join the Masonic Lodge? And if a Catholic did, they faced automatic Excommunication?

If a person can be excommunicated for joining the Masons surely one should now for Planned Parenthood?

I don’t even think the Church does this as they once did. They would be excommunicated spiritually.

In 1986 PP head in Providence , Rhode Island, Mary Ann Sorrentino, was officially excommunicated by the Church. She did resigned but continued to fight for abortion rights. She writes a column for newspapers and is often published but few would know her history.
Despite her excommunication, Ms. Sorrentino said she has remained a practicing Catholic and has received Holy Communion, which is prohibited under excommunication.
She writes for Salon

Even my friend who is an atheist, and who’s philosophy is little more than" let people do whatever they want" is appalled at this!

I’m surprised Salon would hire someone who claims to be a practicing Catholic, since it’s one of the most harshly anti-religious periodicals I’ve seen lately.
Why do you think they keep* this *“practicing” Catholic?

Who else is going to bring “balance” to the discussion when they talk about how backwards the Church is?

Why not? So are abortion supporters Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Kathleen Sebelius and, well, just about every Catholic Democrat there is.

How they can stand themselves is beyond my comprehension.

They’re just being logically consistent. 🤷 The only difference between the child before and after is location, if its ok to kill the child just moments ago when she/he was in the womb why in the world would it be any worse to kill it a minute later when it is in a different location.
This is very true. From our perspective, this is a horrible thing. However, if they have to admit that a child who fails to die during an abortion needs to be given medical care, then they really are forced to admit that that “fetus” is a human being.

Make no mistake that since the Reagan Administration, the Republicans have largely tried to derail abortion and now we see these laws in North Dakota and other states.
Maybe but if you build the engine, it’s yours. Nixon, Eisenhower, Johnson et al built the PP engine.
By that way of reasoning, the Democrats are still responsible for the slavery of blacks since they are the party that fought for what they thought was the right to own a slave. The Democrat Party built that engine, so they still own it.

I don’t think that either party would like to be held responsible for what people using the same moniker did 150 years ago. The current parties in no way resemble their predecessors.

Marsha Blackburn: Defund Planned Parenthood for Endorsing Infanticide
A leading pro-life member of Congress says Planned Parenthood’s latest endorsement of post-birth abortions, or infanticide, should be reason enough for Congress to yank its taxpayer funding.
Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican, has sent a letter to Planned Parenthood in response to their advocacy in support of post-birth abortion before the Florida state legislature. Video of the disturbing exchange between the Planned Parenthood lobbyist and several Florida state legislators can be seen here.
“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief. If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?” a legislator asked a Planned Parenthood lobbyist.
“Um, well, we believe that any decision is made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” she responded.
Blackburn sponsored the first pro-life bill of the 113th Congress – the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (H.R. 61) – to stop taxpayer money from going to big, profitable abortion businesses.
“Planned Parenthood owes the American taxpayers answers to some very basic questions. Any organization receiving taxpayer funding should not lobby in support of expanding abortions, especially controversial propositions like infanticide which dramatically calls into question the way Constitutional rights are bestowed upon every person born in this country,” Blackburn said.
She told LifeNews in a statement, “Planned Parenthood’s disturbing testimony is just one more reason why we must pass H.R. 61 – to end taxpayer funding for big abortion businesses through the Title X grant program.”

The slavery engine was built when civilization began. If anything the far-right KKK was more supportive of black slavery than the Democrats. I don’t understand your reasoning.

Ha. Wasn’t Robert Byrd - a grand wizard of the KKK? Last I checked he was a Democrat his whole life. The KKK was full of Democrats. So you’re wrong here too. (Robert Byrd was majority leader of the Senate in the 80’s).

Well aside from the KKK and the analogy of slavery which we can admit is another darkness that plagues man from time to time, the post birth abomination is a serious Frankenstein agenda. Surely we are not further defining in good conscience when life is not life, again, and again in convenience of our own best self interest. Another one of those dark clouds that plaques man from time to time. “you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Same ole story passed down from long ago. Later for that, drink your own poison, can’t see it nor cooperate with it. “must resist”. No need to personalize the behavior either, love ya. but the behavior isn’t allowed. You can come, but Frankenstein stays.

Completely logical, if one considers that pre-birth abortion is morally acceptable, as they do. There is no difference between killing an infant inside the womb versus outside of it.

The only thing that is shocking is the refusal of the public to accept that it is the same thing. Hopefully PP supporting this will help open some eyes.
