Wow!

What a GREAT witness. THAT’s got to help; it helped me, and I’m quite content at the moment. Thanks so much for sharing.

OP, you’re in my prayers, too.
Thanks for your kind words, FKB. Speaking of kind words … here’s a little hymn for you all. John B. Foley wrote it - it is played at Church every so often.

Chorus: The Lord hears the cry of the poor. Blessed be the Lord.

I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise ever in my mouth.
Let my soul glory in the Lord, who will hear the cry of the poor. (Chorus)

Let the lowly hear and be glad, the Lord listens to their pleas;
and to hearts broken God is near, who will hear the cry of the poor. (Ch)

Ev’ry spirit crushed, God will save; will be ransom for their lives;
will be safe shelter for their fears, and will hear the cry of the poor. (Ch)

We proclaim your greatness, oh God, your praise ever in our mouth;
every face brightened in your light, for you hear the cry of the poor. (Ch)

i am praying for your pain and asking God to strengthen you, comfort you and give you peace. To please recognize all forms of love He sends your way. reject nothing for he comes in all guises. May he bless you and keep you in His loving arms always.

Prayer for a Lonely Soul

Jesus, Friend of a lonely heart,
You are my haven, You are my peace.
You are my salvation,
You are my serenity in moments of struggle
And amidst an ocean of doubts.
You are the bright ray that lights up the path of my life.
You are everything to a lonely soul.
You understand the soul even though it remains silent.
You know our weaknesses and you comfort and heal, sparing us sufferings.

Amen.

(1,114.)

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

thank you all,

dont feel like i can make it thru this.

Most everything I can say will end up sounding trite, dismissive, and maybe a wee bit disrespectful. I don’t mean it to be in the slightest. Please understand that at the onset.

Here goes:
Are you in a position where you can do some volunteer work? Working for a cause outside of yourself, especially for others who need help, can do wonders to get you out of your own troubles.

Prayer, especially a holy hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament, is wonderful medicine, too.

It seems like you’re on the west coast somewhere; is that correct? Are you anywhere near San Diego (Catholic Answers)?

I live in the northeast (outside of Buffalo, NY); if you’re anywhere near this area, maybe we can grab a beer or a coffee together.

I’m very, very sorry to hear that and sympathize with your plight.
You might still be able to help others, even in your situation.
First off, **praying for others’ intentions **might help you change your focus.

I know our country needs prayer warriors like never before. I certainly believe that Jesus considers the prayers of the suffering to be of very high merit.

There might be other things you can do, but since I don’t really know the specifics of your situation, I can’t name them right now.

God bless you & come to your aid.

Loving God, please comfort the grieving heart in the waves of pain that frequently engulf it.

Sustain it when dark mourning closes out all light of comfort and hope, and when prayer seems no longer possible.

Obtain the gentle understanding and warm companionship of others to nurture the stricken heart and lead it towards hope and new life. Sustain it with faith and bring it to true generosity of spirit even in its sorrow.

Loving God, have pity on that terrible grief, that chasm of loss, the emptiness that stretches before the abandoned and lonely.

Let them find hope in Your Son’s resurrection even when their hearts are still frozen with grief.
Please gently draw them towards healing and hope.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me;
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, inebriate me;
Water from the side of Christ, wash me;
Passion of Christ, strengthen me;
O good Jesus hear me;
Within Your wounds hide me;
Never permit me to be separated from You;
From the evil one protect me,
At the hour of my death call me,
And bid me come to You
That with Your saints
I may praise You forever.
Amen.

Have you contacted the Church to see if someone can come by and visit, to spend some time with you. Some parishes have such ministeries and programs.

God Bless you!

Father please heal this broken body and spirit. fill his countenance with the love that only you can bestow. let him understand the work all of his friends here are doing on his behalf and to understand that he must do his share to heal himself. do not let him just sit and feel sorry for himself but see the bigger picture and work with us all. pray unceasingly for others as well as for himself. be lost in you, My Lord, for only then will he find what he is so desperately looking for.

Praying that you will feel the loving presence of our Lord Jesus Christ with you. Always.

You are still in my prayers.
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

I respectfully ask, is our Father asking something from you?

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end Amen
