Maybe you don’t understand this, because of your age/experiance, but the fact is that your teacher has committed a felony, and should be jailed, but I doubt he will be.
I know it is hard to accept this fact, partly because if you were to recognize what he has done as evil, then you might feel that you are bad in some way, but this is not true.
YOU have made a mistake yes, BUT YOU are not to blame, for you did not make this mistake DELIBARETLY. The sheer fact that he must be twice or better your age makes him accountable, and DELIBERATE. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.
Be Loyal to Jesus, not to this “english teacher”, who is a liar and pervert.
Make no mistake, the Truth WILL surface and your deceptionshould you chose to hide the identity of the father from your parents or the authorities] will only make it harder for the healing in the long run.
I won’t even go into what I would do to this, hmmm…“english teacher”, if I were your father, but to think that my little girl thought she couldn’t come to me with ANYTHING, would just tear me up.
Your parents will be angry, I know I would be, justifiably so, but I certainly don’t think any loving parent would not hate you or turn you away.
Whatever you do, remember that Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy, and I think the best advice here was to have your priest help you break the news.
As for adoption, If you decide you love that baby enough to put his/her needs above your own, then I commend you. I am an adopted baby whose parents saved me from being murdered or growing up in a undesirable environment[which my sister had to endure]. For me, adoption is one of the most charitable and loving acts someone can make.
May the peace of the Lord be with you and may the Lord guide you in your decision.
