Please pray for me that I might get past this most trying time. After much consideration, reading, and prayer I allowed myself to give my heart to the man that I love so very deeply. He was not Catholic, but believed, as do I, about the sanctity of marriage and that sexual actions should only take place within marriage between man and wife. We never had sex, nor did we even try for it was our deepest desire to please God in all we did and we believed we could do that together. I love him more than I could ever express in action or words.

Today he decided to end it because of his career. In the depths of his heart, he confessed to me that his career is more important to him than love. For me though, love easily trumps anything on this earth and it has always been this way… I just want love. He said to me that because we diverge at this point, he believes that we cannot be together and we’ll only end up getting hurt if we continue down this road and so he must end it.

I still love him with all the love that I can ever possibly give to another human and I have been in shambles all day long. I really don’t know what to do right now, I can’t even think.

Please, my fellow CAF members, pray for me. Pray that I might have clear sight to move forward from this point so that I can please God with all I am.

Pray for me that I might find comfort this night as I fall asleep.

Pray that I will not find loneliness again.

Please pray for me that, if God wills, I might eventually find someone who loves our Lord over all things, but who also loves me. Someone who I can love, give my heart to, and have a relationship with in a manner that is pleasing God. I understand from reading on CAF and other Catholic resources that many Catholics don’t believe such a loving relationship can take place between two gay men without sex occurring, but I can tell you that it is possible… Please, I beg you, believe this and pray for me that I might find someone.

Above all though, pray that my life as a gay man will always come second to my love for Christ and His Kingdom. That my life may be an example of how to live a holy life as a Catholic with SSA rather than a gay man trying to conform his entire life and reconcile his faith around and with the word ‘gay’.

Please pray for me, my brothers and sisters.

You certainly have my prayers.

**Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.**

May our Lord give you the strength to live a righteous life and may the Holy Spirit guide you to the kingdom and to eternal life.
In the name of the Father
and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit
Amen

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Eternal Father, we thank You for the crosses that we bear knowing that each one is an opportunity to grow closer to You. We believe that all things are possible through You and that for those who love You, all things work together for good. We ask that You heal and comfort MrBibbins in this time of transition and that Your Holy Spirit fill him with sufficient grace to bear this cross with an unwavering faith and courage that brings glory to your name.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Amen

I don’t believe that two gay men cannot love each other without having sex. In fact, there are many gay men who live together as brothers/roommates and help each other lead chaste lives. I pray that you will find love and happiness, and that you will continue to follow God’s will in your life.

I pray for the Father to watch over you and help you lead the life He has planned for you…:gopray:

I will continue to pray for you that God will guide you in the way He wants you to live your life and give youself to Him. God bless!

My prayers for you as well. My brother, may you find continued courage and grace to lead a holy life, and may God heal your heartbreak and bring the people into your life who you most need to give and receive true and lasting love. I am sorry very much for your present loss and heartbreak.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To you do we cry, the children of Eve;
to you do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile,
show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus:
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

You have a heavy cross to bear my friend and I am sorry.

May God bless you

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
