Loving God,

Thank you for your many blessings in our lives and we lift up our continuing prayers for the healing of Rocket’s brother Mickey, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will.

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.

Amen.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Mickey whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Update: Spoke with Mickey recently and he is feeling better and encouraged by the results he is getting from his treatment. God bless you all for your prayers.
