Thank you all for your continued prayers!

My mom is doing well. She is able to bend her leg now that they have taken off the cast that went up her leg. She is getting around pretty well, I thank God for her healing!

I am still going through my rollercoaster of emotions, but have more good than bad or sad. I still have hope and faith that my marriage will be healed, but I am not in control of what John does. I am reading a book on how to take care of myself. From my sessions in therapy I have found that I have always taken care of others and not myself, something that I need to change. I admit that I have gotten angry ,at God, at John, at the other woman and at myself for my marriage problems I then pray and ask for forgiveness and mercy. I know that I will come through this stronger and happier, but the road is sometimes a struggle, I thank all of you for your continued support and prayers, they help when I feel down and low. May God continue to bless all of you!

Just to let you know that I am still praying for you, John and your marriage or what the future holds for you. I think your therapist is dead on with their belief that you need to take care of yourself. Don’t think of that as selfish, because it is not. Judging from your response about John I know you are not a selfish person. I don’t think you are capable of that. I am so glad to hear about the good news regarding your mom. Please continue the path that you are own. I think it safe to speak for most people here on the boards, We arae so proud of you and the growth you have shown.

Cassie89,
I know the Lord is with you. He is there only your troubles are not allowing you to see him. He will pull you through…I am sure of it.

My husband and I have separated. So I understand you completely. I think when I handed over to God completly did I see the change in my husband. It has not been a easy ride. It got bad, really bad, before it got better.

At this time I am not sure what the future will bring. All I know is that I have so much peace inside me…that I may not want to go back. Kinda scary feeling since I always felt, I could not ever do it without my husband. But as time goes on. I am realizing that it is not my husband that keeps the world turning. But our Lord. I love Him and it is Him who I need. So every morning. I am greatful that I have him in my heart.

There has been a book I have been reading (my husband actually bought it for me). I recommend you read it too. Total Forgivness by R.T. Kendall. Very good book, very challenging, but with the Will of God miracles can happen.

Hugs and Kisses.
I will be praying for you my friend!

Praying for your husband and your whole family.

*Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.*

Thank you rebusrms, Gwyn, ezaro and Gigglin4God for your prayers and words of encouragement, I appreciate them very much and pray that the Lord blesses you!

John called me this morning and told me that the divorce papers were ready for me to look at and then sign, I was in shock, I didn’t think it would happen this soon. I went to pick up the papers and am keeping them over the weekend. John called me tonight to see how I was doing and I told him this was very hard for me. He said we would go over the papers on Sunday when he had some time off. He said he wishes he could change the way he feels but right now he thinks that his job is what he is suppose to be doing. He is trusting me completely with everything that is left here at home and that I will not sell or get rid of it. I would never do that because it is wrong and I know that God would not like it. I continue to pray for John everyday. I still love him, but I know I do not control him, only myself. I pray that the Lord give me strength to get through this. I am thankful for my health, my job and my family ( on both sides) for their support and for all of you here on the forum who continue to give me support, may God bless you all!

Thanks for your update Cassie…

Still in my daily prayers for you and your family…

My dear Cassie,
I am so sorry and despondent with the news that the papers for divorce are ready and needed to be signed. My heart breaks for you. I will pray for continue strength and guidance for you. Please note I said continued. You have strength beyond what my people have and I pray that you would rely on that strength. I pray for John, as well for guidance and comfort. It is safe to say that he is hurting and confused; his priorities are skewed. Know you are loved and cared for by many of us here on the boards. We are her for you even if the only ounce of encouragement we can give is to agree that this situation sucks. 😦

my dear, dear friend. I am continuing to keep you in my prayers. May God fill you with His love and strength. I did not see the title of the book you are reading…if you can, pm me the title. I could use it myself. I love you my friend. Diane

Thank you for all your prayers my friends, they mean alot to me!

I am going in today to sign my part of the divorce papers. This may be one of the hardest things that I will have to do, but I cannot stop the divorce or change John’s mind. I am feeling a little down today, but the sun is shining and there are many things that I am thankful for.

John and I had a talk yesterday and he stopped taking one of his medications because it was making him fall asleep on the job, which is bad since he is running and working on heavy equipment. I told him to call the doctor and have him try a different prescription, but I don’t know if he will do it, I can’t control that either. I asked him why we didn’t get a divorce before he left if he felt like he wanted to be free. He didn’t have an answer for me and told me that he has felt like this for 10 years, something I was not aware of. We should have talked about it. He says he loves me but wishes that I had more energy for life. I don’t know what that means, I’ve raised our sons and have kept things going while he was on the road most of the time. I’ve had time to think and pray about this whole situation and I am trusting God to lead me through this. I am also continuing to pray for John, I don’t think he has fully let God into his life. I am still praying for a miracle for our marriage, but it has to be God’s will. Thank you for your continued support and I am keeping all of you in my prayers. God Bless!

Cassie,

I am still praying for you. As hard as it is for us to understand, sometimes God has plans for us that we are unable to see with our human eyes. Continue to pray for His Will to be done and take care of yourself.

Cassie,
I see how you have grown to trust in the Lord. He will make things right for you. I just know it. Please know you are not the only one going through something like this…and won’t be the last. Now you will have the compassion to help those who will one day go through this.

I am sure you may want to know the purpose of all this. With prayer, and silence to come to hear the Lord, you will get your answer. Be patient my friend…and trust in the Lord.

Hugs and Kisses,
You are a great women for allowing the Lord to take over.
