We come to you, O blessed Joseph, in our distress. Having sought the aid of your most blessed spouse, we now confidently implore your assistance also. We humbly beg that, mindful of the affection which bound you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and of the fatherly love with which you cherished the child Jesus, you will lovingly watch over the heritage which Jesus Christ purchased with His blood, and by your powerful intercession help us in our urgent need. Prudent guardian of the Holy Family, protect chosen people of Jesus Christ; drive far from us, most loving father, all error and corrupting sin. From your place in heaven, most powerful protector, graciously come to our aid in this conflict with the powers of darkness, and as of old you delivered the Child Jesus from danger of death, so now defend the holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity. Extend to each one of us your continual protection, that, led on by your example, and borne up by your strength, we may be able to live and die in holiness and obtain everlasting happiness in heaven. Amen.

Praying that St. Joseph intercede

Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings and in particular we thank you today for the peace you have granted your daughter Cassie as she continues her journey of faith. You love your daughter unconditionally Lord, and you want her to be happy in this life and the next. Thank you for being with her and helping her through this time of great challenge and turmoil in her life. Please continue to bless her and strengthen her as she lives and loves the life you have planned for her.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Cassie, praying for you. hope that my friend will have peace like you. She has been struggling with her marriage. Please pray for her and her husband too

Wina I will pray for your friend and her husband in hopes that they will find some peace.

Thank you all for your prayers! Please continue to keep John, my son who is in Afghanistan and my son who is having some major marriage problems in your prayers. I am very thankful that John is with the son who is having marriage problems right now, he really needs his father. John and I were talking a couple of days ago and then out of the blue he said that he loved me. I told him that I love him too, that will never change but I am still trying to find myself. He told me that I can do anything and that he will help if he can. We have not told anybody except his sister and our kids that we are divorced. It seems that neither one of us wants to disappoint our families and that we don’t want everyone to know, people look at you different. John says he is burnt out and really needs a break. I don’t know if he will come back home anytime soon since our son is having problems, but I did tell him if there is anything I can do to tell me. I also called my son and told him the same thing. Even though the boys are not biologically mine ( they are actually my stepsons) there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them. I know that God is present through all of this and I feel that our family is getting closer. I have a tough time sometimes being alone but it gives me time to reflect and to find peace.

Thank you again my friends for your prayers, you all continue to be in mine. May the Lord bless you and your loved ones!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen

Our Father, may everything I do begin with Your
Inspiration,
continue with Your Help,
and reach perfection under Your Guidance.
With Your loving care guide me in my daily actions.
Help me to persevere with love and sincerity.
Teach me to judge wisely the things of earth
and to love the things of Heaven.
Keep me in Your presence
and never let me be separated from You.
Your Spirit made me Your child,
confident to call You Father.
Make Your Love the foundation of my life.
Teach me to long for Heaven.
May its promise and hope guide my way on earth
until I reach eternal life with You.

Continued prayers Cassie. May the peace of Christ be with you…

Cassie,
You and your family will continue to be in my prayers. The Lord can change a bad situation into good. Good will come out of your situtation if you continue to call on the Lord.

Lord…hear out prayers.

I’m so glad to hear that you feel so much more at peace and that you and John still talk frequently. I will continue to pray for you and him, and for all your family (particularly your sons, and the wife of the younger son).

Also to Wina, I have been praying for Beth and her husband too.

God bless you all! 😃

Thank you my friends for all your prayers!

This morning I feel depressed, but part of it is due to the weather, it has been gray and rainy since yesterday. The other part is that I miss my family ( John and the kids). I know that I am not alone, but days like this are hard. I do have my work and some wonderful co-workers that will have me laughing before too long. I pray that God will be with John and the boys and protect them. I am thankful for everything that God has given me, the good and the bad. I know that I will be okay and that the Lord is with me every step, but sometimes those steps are hard to take. I continue to trust in Him and I know that He loves me and wants me to be happy. I continue to pray for all of you and that God will bless your lives.

Lord grant her peace. So that she can continue to love life, the world and you!

Lord hear our prayers!

Father, we lift John up to You, praying that You soften his heart through the power of Your Holy Spirit, so that he might turn from his wandering and return to faith and faithfulness. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen! Alleluia!

cassie, you are in my thoughts and prayers. may peace wash over you. :hug3:

Thank you my friends for your prayers and words of encouragement!

It is still raining here and could possibly turn to snow and ice which could be bad. I am 90 miles from the flooding that is occuring in the Red River Valley in Minnesota and North Dakota, my prayers are with them. The latest that I heard is that the flood will surpass the flood of 1997 which was over 39 feet above flood stage. Even around my hometown, there is water everywhere.

John called this morning and this evening wondering how everything was going. My son who is married will be coming home soon, there has been some major issues and problems in his marriage that were not known until recently, my heart aches for him since he is such a kind hearted man and does not deserve what is happening to him. Even though John and I are divorced, I will support my son any way possible. I have told John this and also that he is welcomed home if he should choose to come home. I know things have gone on in the past, but nothing is impossible with the Lord. If nothing else, I am coming to terms with that I have done everything I can possibly do with the Lord’s help. If John and I are meant to be together the Lord will see that we are, maybe not tomorrow, but He will show us the way. If not then the Lord will guide me on to the life I am meant to lead, no matter how hard it seems now.

Please continue to keep John in your prayers as he has drifted away from the Church and is lost right now. Let him be a comfort to our son who is having difficulty in his marriage. I know that this is rather a long post, one that started in June 2008, but I am a believer in the power of prayer and I know that your prayers have helped me and John along this difficult road that we have traveled on. May God bless all of you!
