Don’t give up praying for him even if he should give up for a time. I can tell you that my husband has just this year converted after a 17 year battle against the faith. As you grow in your faith, your husband will see you become more loving and more forgiving. Keep reaching out to him. One of the things that convinced my husband to finally convert was that I told him that the reason I could not leave the faith was because it helped me to love him better - and that loving him was one of the most important things I wanted in my life. Another thing that helped was a marriage encounter weekend.

I don’t know your circumstances, but I do know that God is with you in this battle. He wants your marriage to remain united more than you do, because He loves your husband more than you do. Don’t give up. You are closer to victory than you think.

Cassie, the Lord’s Passion has taken on new meaning for many of us this Holy Week. Graciously bear all wrongs, in emulation of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Our prayers are always with you. Amen!

Thank you for your continued prayers during this Holy Week.

John will be coming home soon and there are things that we need to talk about face to face. We have both sensed a change in each other. I have given up on being obsessed over what he is doing and I feel better than I have for quite some time even though my son is going through some terrible times. I still love John very much and continue to pray for him. Lately we have had talks about God and how things that seem to be bad at the time turn out to be a blessing. I do not know if I will spend the rest of my life with him, but I do know that I do not hate him and will love him no matter what because it is what God wants. I continue to pray for my son and my daughter-in-law and that they can find some kind of peace during this time. May God be with all during this Holy Week. God Bless.

You sound so strong and put together. It is good to hear. You and John are ever in my prayers as well as your son

*cassie, I admire your tenacity…I have followed this thread, and I will hold you in my prayers…that whatever God’s will is, that you are at peace. It would be a blessing if you and your husband could being anew…sometimes, it’s hard to do, but I’m praying for a ‘mini miracle’ for you both. Have a blessed Easter, and never stop praying. It is the most powerful tool we have! *

Praying for all of you. Recall that Abraham was 99 and Sarah was 90 when she conceived. The message being that all good happens in the Lord’s time. Our part is patience and prayer. Amen.

CONTINUING TO PRAY FOR YOUR HUSBAND!!!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death
Amen.

:gopray: Father God we lift Cassie and her husband to you. Soften her husband’s heart and call him to be one of Yours. Bring him to a saving knowledge. Bring him home to the church. We lift this marriage to You bless it and give it life. Breath Your Holy Spirit into this marriage. We pray that the husband gives the marriage a chance. Father, be with Cassie, strengthen her and comfort her during this time. Direct her Lord, lead her Lord, continue to love her.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from Christ’s side, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Suffer me not to be separated from Thee
From the malicious enemy defend me
In the hour of my death call me
And bid me come unto Thee
That I may praise Thee with Thy saints
and with Thy angels
Forever and ever
Amen ***

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners, now
and at the hour of our death. Amen

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host,

who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
