Loving God,

We lift up in prayer our intentions for Cassie and John and the family,
and hope that your mercy and grace may lead them to the place you
would have them be, whether it be as a married couple or some other
state of life, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will.
We also ask that the peace of your son, our Lord Jesus, be with both of them.

Amen.

PRAYER FOR
CHRISTIAN FAMILIES

(By Pope Pius XII)

O Lord, God of goodness and mercy,
Who in the midst of an evil and sinful world
hast presented to the society of the redeemed
the Holy Family of Nazareth
as a spotless mirror of piety, justice and love,
behold how the family is being undermined on all sides,
every effort being made to desecrate it
by stripping it of faith, religion and morals.

Regard the work of Thy own hands.
Safeguard in our homes the domestic virtues,
for these alone will ensure us harmony and peace.

Come and stir up the champions of the family.
Bestir the modern apostles so that in Thy Name,
bearing the message of Jesus Christ
and exhibiting holiness of life,
they may revive the doctrines of conjugal fidelity for married couples,
the exercise of authority by parents,
obedience on the part of children
and modesty on the part of girls.
Grant also through the efforts of these apostles,
that the home favoured by Thee with many blessings
may again become an object of esteem and love
in the minds and hearts of all.

It is through the examples of the Divine model of Nazareth
that the Christian family is to be restored in Jesus Christ
and to recover its former respect and dignity.
Then every home will again become a sanctuary
and in every household will be rekindled the flame of faith
to teach patience in adversity
and moderation in prosperity
and to promote order, peace and harmony in all things.

Under Thy paternal gaze, O Lord,
and with confidence in Thy Providence
and in the loving patronage of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
the family will become a sanctuary of virtue
and a school of wisdom.
It shall prove, as Christ has promised,
a haven of rest against life’s burdens.
In the sight of the world it shall render glory to Thee, O Father,
and to Thy Son, Jesus, until the day when,
through Him, we shall, together with all His members,
sing the Divine praises in the eternal ages to come.

Amen.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you all for your continued prayers!

It sounds like John will be leaving soon and going back out to where he was working. I have enjoyed having him and my two sons home. John continues to have contact with the other woman, which makes me confused. Not many people know that we are divorced, we just haven’t told anyone except our families. I have had moments where I think I should give up on him and move on, but there is something holding me back from doing it. I know that John’s depression has played a big part in this whole thing. He went back on his medication and quit drinking without me asking him to, he decided on his own. I continue to pray for God’s guidance in this whole thing. To just give up would be the easy thing to do, but I haven’t heard God telling me to do this yet.

I pray that all is well with all of you and you all continue to be in my prayers. May God Bless You!

Love, Cassie

Amen. Cassie, your strength and perseverance is a model for me in praying for others. I continue to pray for you, John, your son who’s having maritial difficulties and his wife. I’m hopeful for you. :hug1:

I place you in the emaculate heart of Mary, and will pray the rosary for your intensions.

Thank you my friends for your continued prayers, you all remain in mine every day!

My oldest son was hurt in Afghanistan but is alive. Please keep him and all the troops in your prayers, they will appreciate them.

John is still home, but could be leaving any day. I know he has kept things from me, but I sense that there is a battle going on inside of him. I pray that he is not leading me on only to let me down, but that is for God to handle. I sometimes think that this is too hard and I want to quit, but the Lord keeps me from doing that. I know that I am loved and that John loves me too, but he also has feelings for someone else. I continue to pray.

My middle son who is going through a messy divorce is also having his ups and downs. His wife has left nasty text messages on his phone and messages. I continue to pray for them both. My son would do anything for anybody and I feel so bad for him and at a loss because I don’t know what to do except be here.

Please keep John and my sons in your prayers, they are good men, just confused and lost right now. As always I continue to pray for all intentions posted even though I don’t respond as much as I use to because of my job. May God Bless All of You!

Yours in Christ,
Cassie

Please help this family!

Thank you my friends for your continued prayers.

John left yesterday to go back to work. He will not be done until sometime in November. He took me out to supper the night before and we had a wonderful time. I continue to pray that we will reconcile and be reunited in marriage again. He told me that he loved me and to be strong. I know that he has feelings for the other woman and will be working with her again. Many would give up, but I continue to persist, I just have this feeling that I should. John and I have been together for almost 19 years, I have a hard time just throwing that away. I continue to talk to God about this and ask that if I am suppose to leave that He gives me a sign. I also pray for all of my sons, one who is in Afghanistan and two who are also working with the company that John is.

You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

May God Bless You!

Jesus please give Cassie the reward of a good and faithful wife with a strong and faithful commitment from her husband John. Please give him strength and character and genuine love to wholeheartedly commit to his wife to the exclusion of all other women, however attractive.
Jesus, please save Cassie from the torment of any more uncertainty.
And please powerfully and lovingly protect her sons and lead them to live good, loving, healthy, and happy lives.
Mother Mary please pray for Cassie, John, and the boys.

Thank You, Jesus.
Thank you, Mother
