Hey everyone. Thanks for your prayers for Colton. He is continuing to do well. I had another visit with him on Wednesday. I noticed that he is starting to get a bigger belly. That certainly made me happy to see.

Anyway, he has an appointment on Friday with a specialist in Indianapolis. His daddy is taking him. CPS won’t allow me to go to his doctors appointments for some strange reason. I will let you know what they find out.
 
Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers for Colton. Anyway, I was wrong about him having an appointment in Indianapolis tomorrow. His appointment is actually next week and he has two appointments in Indianapolis next week, one on Thursday and one on Friday.

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers for Colton. He stayed the night with my mom last night so that way David would be able to work today. Anyway, he has a weight check on Wednesday and then he has two appointments in Indianapolis this week as well. One of the appointments is on Thursday and the other is on Friday. I am pretty sure that one of the appointments is for his Geneticist to discuss the genetic testing that he had done where we learned the has has a chromosome disorder. I’m not sure what the other appointment is for. It might be with his main developmental specialist. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to go to the appointments per CPS rules which I personally think is ridiculous.

Anyway, Colton is doing well. He was being rather picky at my mom’s house and not wanting to eat much but that’s okay because he gets about 95% of his nutrition via feeding tube anyway and as long as he doesn’t vomit the tube feedings up, he will gain weight. He did eat but he was being a little pickier than usual.

Hey everyone. I have great news! Colton just had his weight check and he gained double what he normally gains in 2 weeks. He gained 2 lbs since his last weight check 2 weeks ago and now weighs 32 lbs and 2 oz. I’m so happy! God is finally answering our prayers!

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers for Colton. He has puked 3 or 4 times in the past week and so I am concerned that he won’t gain much weight this time. However, he has also started eating better so that might make up for the loss of calories via puking.

Anyway, we had one of our monthly meetings with CPS yesterday. Our case worker is happy with the progress I have made in solving any problems I have but they told me it’s up to the judge as to when I can get Colton back. My CPS case worker did tell me that it typically takes 4 to 6 months to get your child back.

So anyway, please keep praying for Colton. I greatly appreciate your prayers.

Hey everyone. Colton is continuing to do well. He had his weight check this morning and he gained another pound. He is now 33 lbs. Gaining 1 lb every 2 weeks is what he normally does. I’m very grateful for your prayers for him. It’s working. Please keep praying for him.

Hey everyone. Colton had another weight check today. This time it was at his new doctor. David, his daddy, moved to another town so they got an other doctor in another town. Anyway, Colton gained 1 lb and 6 oz. He’s doing great!
