Please pray for my son to continue gaining weight

Yes, he has had several weeks in the past 5 months where he gained and other weeks intermittently where he didn’t lose weight and was steady. However, he has also had illnesses that made him lose some weight. He seems to go back and forth like this a lot so over the course of a year, his weight has pretty much stayed the same overall and that’s why the doctors are concerned. According to his doctor, he should weigh 40 lbs now.

Hey everyone. I talked to David earlier and Colton seems to have completely recovered from surgery now. He is no longer vomiting or running any fevers. He also has not required any pain medicine today. He is going to get to go back to school tomorrow.
 
Hey everyone. Colton’s first day back at school did not go well. His teacher called David and she thinks he is not quite ready to go back to school so he will be staying home tomorrow.

That said, I had my first supervised visitation with Colton today since CPS came and took him from me. It went really well. David and I have to appear in court tomorrow. Colton is still staying with David. Hopefully I will get Colton back really soon. Please keep David, Colton, and I in your prayers. Thank you.

Hey everyone. Thank you very much for your prayers for Colton. Anyway, Colton had to go to the doctor today because he had a bad day at school yesterday where he was laying on the floor crying and so we wanted to get his throat and ears checked out. It turns out that he is not yet completely healed up from the surgery so he is going to be out of school until Monday.

We’re also having issues with Colton being very stressed out and upset about CPS taking him away from me. I’m getting supervised visitation with him a couple of times a week but it is still taking a huge toll on his emotional health. He has been very scared and sad lately. Please pray for my poor little guy. I hate seeing him go through this and I also feel terrible about it because of the part that I played in it.

That said, Colton has not gained any weight between last week and this week. From what I understand, he has only thrown up 1 time since last week. It’s very concerning to me that he hasn’t gained at least a few ounces between last week and this week. I am so scared. I am worried that if he won’t gain weight being at his daddy’s house that CPS could come and take Colton away from his daddy too.

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers. Colton is doing well and hasn’t vomited since the last time which I posted about in a previous post. He has a weight check this week so hopefully he will have gained some weight. Please continue praying for him. I greatly appreciate your prayers.
 
Hey everyone. Colton just had a weight check and he did gain weight this time. He is now 30 lbs and 2 oz. Please pray for him to continue gaining weight. He needs to weigh 40 lbs according to his doctor.

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers for Colton. He is continuing to do well. I had a visit with him today and he ate supper with me. He ate fairly well and he handled his tube feeding really well too. I’m not sure when his next weight check is but he gets one every two weeks. As long as he continues doing well and doesn’t vomit any, he should continue gaining weight. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
