Hey everyone. We went to Colton’s specialist today. He’s still not gaining weight so they changed him back to the calorie dense version of Pediasure. He’s going to get 5 oz of it 5 times a day. This will be 90% of the nutrition he needs which is good because I would say he barely eats 10% of what he needs. Hopefully, he will not have any vomiting issues this time and he will gain weight like he is supposed to.

Hey everyone. Colton’s high calorie Pediasure came in the mail yesterday evening so I started giving it to him this morning. So far, he’s tolerating it well. Please pray that he continues to tolerate it well so he can gain weight.

Hey everyone. Colton is continuing to do well on his high calorie Pediasure. I have to do it over the course of 15 minutes like I did when he was on high calorie boost though because it’s a thicker formula and will upset his stomach if I do it faster.

Hey everyone. Colton had his weight check today. He gained half a pound.

Also, Colton has surgery this coming Friday to get his tonsils removed. Please keep him in your prayers.

Colton is still doing well on his new Pediasure thanks be to God. Please pray that he continues to do well and that he does not catch my laryngitis or any other illness going around.
 
Hey everyone. Colton is still doing very well with the new PediaSure. David, his dad, talked to his doctor today and we found out that we were supposed to be giving him 5.5 oz of PediaSure 1.5 instead of 5 oz. I honestly thought that she said 5 ounces the last time and a friend of mine that went with me thought the same thing. I guess there must have been some sort of confusion. We started doing the 5.5 oz of supper today and he is still doing fine with it.

Colton’s surgery is coming up on Friday and I am really worried about it. I have read a story in the past about a girl who had the same surgery and ended up dying because of complications from it and that has me really nervous. I am trying to trust in God the best I can but it is still difficult for me especially since I struggle with depression and anxiety. Please pray for a successful and safe surgery for Colton and also for David and I that our fears and anxieties would be alleviated.

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers for Colton. Colton has his surgery tomorrow at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. We have to be there at around 9 a.m. Please continue to keep him in your prayers especially for a safe and successful surgery. He is getting his tonsils removed because they are too big and it is aggravating his sleep apnea.
