Please pray for "transgender" CHILDREN

Today I cried. T.V. show-DR. OZ had children whose parents allowed “sex change”. These were not children born with birth defect in which difficult choice of gender assignment had to be made. These were physically whole and physically male or female children.

When I think of how many times as a kid I told mom “I wish I was a boy.” and meant it. Thank God she had more sense than these people.

Please join me in praying for these kids.Maybe there is such a thing as having been born the wrong gender. i don’t think so, but that’s my opinion. But come on man! Seven years old??
A seven year making such a drastic decision that will impact the rest of his or her life? I don’t get it. And what happens 10-20 years later when-like I did I realize how silly that was?
 
We surely pray for all children, as all of us have a burden, a defect, a weakness that is there to reveal our character.

**God is Perfect, He would never give us a challenge He did not help us overcome if we are selfless & brave!

Our “gender” is irrelevant. When we are lying on our deathbed, we will not care if we are male, female, rich, poor, brilliant or honest, we will only care about how we lived our lives, how we loved, despite our weakness!!!**

We are all only called to love & witness to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, nothing else matters!

Loving God please protect little ones from mistaken decision made at birth for children where gender seems ambiguous.
And please protect and guide those who are confused about gender at some time in their lives.
Help them to simply be who they really are in Your sight,
and to welcome the person whom they are in Your sight.
Please guide their parents in helping them wisely to welcome their reality with peace.

You either overlook things easily or didn’t watch the whole segment. Didnt you notice ,especially with the little male to feamle transsexual child that once allowed to be herself she is thriving? Doesn’t that count for anything with you at all? You put far too much importance on the physical. I’ am very glad you are not a parent to either of them.🤷
 
there is ample evidence to show there is a neurological intersex condition commonly known as transsexualism or gender identity disorder (GID) it is not some made up fantasy or a childhood phase it is a genuine medical condition.
these children do not have sex change operations until of legal age they are given puberty blocking drugs so the child can live without the horrors of a wrong puberty until they are old enough to legally make the descision themselves.this treatment is reversable unlike the surgery later.
please pray that the parents,medical teams and pastoral care dont do more damage to the children by putting them through psychological and worse treatments that will ultimately lead to a person of complete misery and all to often suicide.there are people on this forum who can attest to these types of treatment that have made them into pathetic messes and no amount of theRAPEy will heal what was meant to be well meaning but in reality utterly deplorable attempts to make them into what they are not.
external genetalia , xx or xy , or what ever else doesnt matter to whether a person is male or female only the person themselves can say what or who they are.
 
The lack of response to this thread means nearly evryones agrees with me?

I agree with you. Was this about the US Military family in Japan?

Although they do need prayers, thats for sure. This is a very hard cross to bear, I am glad they are addressing it early.

Thankyou. I’m glad to see the few who do actually care here like you. But I’m dissapointed in the apathy with this subject here as well as other places in society. While I’m staying Catholic, I’m not very pleased with the typical Catholic attitude about this and aim to do what I can to improve that.

Its not really apathy as much as ignorance, most people see Transgender and they have visions of drag-queens from “The Birdcage”. Most do not know the troubling and emotional pressure these people deal with, they are treated like social deviants but really have no control over their condition. I find them courageous and think they need our help in their journey.

Story on this, I work for a large tech corporation that has a large emphasis in promoting diversity. A few years ago I was involved with hiring technicians and low level engineers and did 1st, 2nd, and 3rd interviews before a manager. I had one candidate who had a male name, did ok on the phone interview and I invited them to a f2f 2nd, the deal was if they made it past the 2nd we would have them go take a urine test and wait for a 3rd. When this candidate came to the interview they came as a woman, it was a little shocking even for me. They did ok on the technical side, but I put them in for the 3rd round, in the end they were nominally skilled for technical and behavioral abilities, but I suggested her for hire anyways. When I was questioned on this because there were higher scores then she, my reasoning was that her character. 1st and foremost she was honest with us in presenting herself as a female( she explained that her name was not changed legally yet), and that she had far more courage then most of the other candidates. I talked to her the other day and she is doing fantastic, she moved into a manager role and is head of our companies diversity groups for LGBT and is proceding on with her transformation.
 
I suppose the thing that amazes me most of all when I look at our world is that God allows it to continue to exist. I am not just talking about this post but just the general state of our country. We need to get on our knees and pray for redemption.

But I’m pretty sure if we all saw the list of things that God The Father wants us to be redeemed for, it would have things on it that would surprise us and things not on it that would surprise many of us also. Don’t get any idea that you exactly what is and is not on that list. Presuming to know exactly whats on that list might be one of the things we need to be redeemed for!

The most destructive therapy is when a transgender child is taken and they try to make him/her “normal”.

Well, that’s offensive. I detest when people use the word “Rape” for referring to ANYTHING other than the act of rape. It’s disrespectful to survivors.

and what is done in many of these ‘treatments’ or ‘therapies’ amounts to a complete emotional rape.
i am one who has been through a very minimal , in comparison , form of this theRAPEy when i was hospitalised for a breakdown which began from being raped (physically) when i was told by a psychaiatrist that because of what i am “you really wanted it” and my whole experience in those weeks unable to be removed by his ‘care’ is still incredibly haunting.

if you want to hear of others who have been through much more extremes of this theRAPEy then go and look through the threads on the transgender/transsexual topics and you will find some who have described the torture and the reprocussions in their lives since being FORCED into these practises.there is one particular person who comes to mind and she has been very vocal on what has occurred to her.

rape is rape is rape. it doesnt matter the difference between physical and emotional because they both share the physical and emotional results from the act/s recieved.i have been a survivor of both and i find it insulting that you seem to only find the physical rape the only one worthy of being insulted when spoken against.
