Heavenly Father ,
please grant our pleas for our dear friend , Trishie, burdened as she is by her own health problems as well as all the problems in the lives of the members of her family . Comfort dear Trishie , Lord God , amidst all the dreadful events being visited on her family , and protect her and all her family .
Amen .

God our Father ,
our strength in adversity ,
our health in weakness ,
our comfort in sorrow ,
be merciful to your people .
Give us new life and hope as we rest in your kindness .
Amen .

We thank you Lord for blessing Trishie’s sister B with your Healing Grace .
and pray that you will restore her to a full recovery from her injuries .

We can never know the pain the same way you feel it.

Will you let us try to carry some of it, any of it for you?

I wish for a practical way to do this.

Any way to do this is a good thing that may lead to it.

For this intention, I seek out help in trying to pray rather than have thoughts…

I have tried, but have no idea if they “took” or were right or proper.

My first attempt was to acknowledge that I was adressing the Christian God, telling him I have some problems with accepting all of the things I must, but I accept many things He has expressed in the texts, and through the Catholic Church.

Always, I have loved people. All people, no matter the differences in belief or lack of.

Your intentions became my intentions after I knew you here. I wish I knew more.
But, you go out of your way to witness to so many people of so many diverse backrounds.

Always telling them how much value they have.

Trishie-

You are a shining gem of the Catholic Faith.

If everyone were like you, this world would be better than it is.

I just need to find a way that I can help.

I am limited by my “location” in several ways.

You will and must perservere.

You are a help.

The bible talks about “helps” along the “way”

Dear Lord please hear our humble prayers for our dear friend Trishie.She is suffering Lord and we ask You would grant her intentions known to You for herself and her family.Our dear friend has done so much for so many people here at CAF by her wonderful example of faith and witness to You.Now she is suffering more than we can know and it breaks our hearts Lord.We love Trishie and want her not to suffer any longer.She has had a very tough time lately with her own serious health problems, worry for her son,her dear father passing away and her Uncle terminally ill.There are many other issues also Lord which You alone know.Please merciful Father help Trishie and her beloved family in her time of need.Lord in Your mercy hear and answer our prayers Amen

I will be gone for a little over a week now but will keep praying. (I"m not sure if I’ll have internet access)

Far away in location physically. But close in heart. Would like to be of more practical help.

Just keep in mind that distance is a real practical problem. I’ve spent the day on and off of work looking for family in that country to give me some ideas to help.

I feel frustrated. So, I keep going on doing what I think believers would do in this situation.

I felt I was too late to go to daily mass being 4 minutes late. So I sat in my car.
I spent that time listening to relevant radio.

I had also put my thoughts about your intentions in my journal I started from the day I started here at CAF.

It is a way for me to keep the things I may later forget in print.

You can be sure I would never walk into Mass late even bearing in my heart your intentions.
I will try to go on time tomorrow, as I try as much as I can for this intention.

But, never late. I don’t think it is respectful to show up late. I have missed Mass for not having ironed pants.

I just don’t want to be there in a disrespectfull manner or outward appearance of disrespect.
