And Donald and Hillary are leading the charge at the March for Life? Oh wait…

An objectively pro-life, pro-family candidate is not a luxury we have this time around.
A vote for Johnson is a vote for Clinton and possibly the next 50 years of the Supreme Court.

Considering what happened here, 2nd Amendment is very important as well.

I wonder about that Johnson vote. Pro choice, pro drugs, pro gay marriage, pro guns,

It’s like the ultimate anarchists candidate.

Less availability of guns and less tolerance of gun use might have prevented this. We will never know. But it would make this and similar atrocities less likely, to some degree. That’s enough for me.

What we are dealing with above all else is a mentality. In the US now, there is a prevalent mentality that guns are an acceptable means to personal power, to personal and societal “security”, and, in some communities and subcultures, even to settlement of personal disputes. The US is opting to go back to the society that prevailed in the 19th century western frontier. That might have been necessary in that time and place, and it’s made for some great TV shows and movies over the years, but in the present day US, it’s is an unmistakeable sign of societal disintegration.

Bottom line: the easy availability of guns in this country is a great enabler of terrorist acts. I’d like to see someone dispute that.
Guns are here to stay. Deal with it. Country was founded on blood and stolen land. Something like that isn’t simply erased by banning guns…only leaves the elite Political Class and criminals with them. If guns are eradicated, people can just murder with cars, knives, poison, bombs, homemade bio weapons, etc. etc.

It’s Ramadan and a time when Islamic terrorists try to launch attacks whenever possible.

“My political opinions lean more and more to anarchy (philosophically understood, meaning abolition of control not whiskered men with bombs). The worst job of any man, even saints, is to rule over others. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity”.

False. A vote for Hillary is a vote for Hillary. I find it very hard to believe that Trump has gone from chums with the Clintons to their mortal enemies in just under a year.

Do you think that your feeling concerning this massacre and the victims have more to do with your personal history? Being in an LGBTQ nightclub is not a sin. My daughter, who is 31 and lives in Santa’s Monica told me this morning that many straight people patronize gay clubs too, especially if the music and dancing are good. To continue, unless people are openly having sex on the dance floor, what is to be afraid of? The Church does not indicate that being gay is a sin in itself. Hopefully some kind of hope will reveal itself after the initial shock is over. In my heart, I pray than those who still hold LGBTQ individuals to be inferior and freaks will realize that humans are humans and their sexual orientation is just one component of their personality. When I read what the ignorant It. Governor of Texas wrote, quoting from the OT, this morning, I was physically sick. Of course, he immediately deleted the comment. Pat Robertson also put a message up that indicated that gay humans deserve whatever horrible incident or disease that might befall them. What wonderful followers of the Gospels these two are. This has to stop. There are so many sins that are far worse than the sexual ones that still continue to be the focus of old school Catholics, such as racism, homophobia, and the rampant belief that those who follow a religion other than Christianity are going to hell. The biggest sin of all, according to my pea sized brain, is teaching your children to fear and hate those who are different.
Thank you so much for posting this. It renews my faith in humanity.

The statements attributed to Robertson are from Newslo, a satire site.

This is the article, and it’s obviously an exaggeration:

Very doubtful that he would fly in on his private jet in his slippers and bathrobe just to comment on it.

***Well, I can think of a gun law that would have made it harder for him to do this. First of all, the gunman was mentally unstable, so he never should have been allowed to buy a gun. *** Of course, anyone can have someone else buy a gun for them, but Florida’s gun laws are very lax, and semiautomatic assault weapons are still allowed for sale. Why on Earth does anyone not doing a mass killing need a semi-automatic assault weapon?
Absolutely and completely untrue! The Orlando shooter possessed a “Security Officer” license in Florida. He also possessed a “Statewide Firearms License” in Florida. IOW, he passed all background checks. No gun law could have prevented this…try again!

***Peace, Mark ***

The mentality is called Islam.

As for gun crime, check out the homicide rate by guns done by the following four demographics:

White
Black
Asian
Hispanic

Let me know what you find.

That’s just your opinion.

ISIS is claiming responsibility:
foxnews.com/
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack Sunday afternoon via its Amaq news agency, Reuters reported. Amaq said an “Islamic State fighter” carried out the assault. It was not clear, however, if the shooting was actually directed by the terror group or only inspired by it.

That’s just your opinion.
Of course it is! If we totally agree with one situation or another then there would be no possible reason to post one’s own thoughts. Yep, as you can imagine, I’ve been called an heretic and usually a Cafeteria Catholic. So be it. 👍

Texas Lt Gov Dan Patrick this morning tweeted from Galatians “Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” He later deleted it and replaced it with a quote from Psalms, claiming it was scheduled days ago.

Patrick’s own pastor has condemned the original tweet, saying that such speech gives permission to hate LGTBQ people.

It’s the wave of the future with more to come, and that’s why I totally agree with what Donald Trump and Ted Cruz said about Islamic communities in America. And I hope all those who died repented of this grievous sin before they departed this world.

Thanks! Sometimes these old nut jobs do get blamed for saying things that they did not emote, however;remember the Christ like Robertson did say that AIDS is the comeuppance t that the LGBTQ received from the Lord just for being gay. Once a fool, always a fool.😛

What grievous sin would that be?

The fact is: Islam is not monolithic, and there are a statistically significant number of people who identify themselves as Muslim, who subscribe to the beliefs this Imam does.

Not all Muslims believe this, but a significant number do

The massacre is not a gun issue, its a radical Islam issue.
I think it is important to remember how intolerant Christians can be too, correct? Let’s step back and take a deep breath here. 🙂 Why oh why can us Westerners never learn to be more accepting of different cultures that challenge our values? Less judgmental, less grim.
