Then we can respectfully agree to disagree.
** can we also respectfully agree to disagree also?!**

Goodness me! I go out of town for 30 hours and there are a zillion postings to this thread! Had to do some serious catching-up!

Breaking news first: one of the four men wanted for questioning about the bombings last Thursday; arrested in Birmingham at 4.30 AM (London time). A Tazer gun was used to bring him under control. A possible bomb was found in his possession.
Two suspects taken off a Leeds-Kings X train at Grantham late last night.

More details of the subway shooting slowly being released into the Media.

Police have admitted that NO WARNINGS are being given to suspected suicide bombers. So, the Officers are not required to shout: Police! Stop! or anything else. The reasoning is that a suicide bomber, knowing the game is up, would detonate the device in the hope of taking a few law enforcement officers with him/her. Sir Ian Blair insists that in adopting this policy they took advice from both Sri Lankan and Israeli security forces. [taking advice like this; hey! Makes me feel very happy and secure]

Also, this operational policy requires Officers to take head shots and also to RESTRAIN THE BODY UNTIL LAST TWITCHINGS OF BODY. This last seemingly required to avoid possibility of detonation during death. This might explain the reported behaviour of shootists in diving onto victim. May be the reported eye witness accounts have sequence in wrong order? Possibility anyway.

Some speculation that the officers involved in this shooting were Special Forces (SAS), rather than Police. Police just taking rap for security reasons. Also, seems clear that this surveillance operation appeared to involve two, maybe three teams in a relay operation. Would add to the possibility of error and mistake.

Yes, marvellous. So maybe the Police would like to tell us what we’re supposed to do now. Or is being suspected of being a suicide bomber a capital crime now???! 😦

Sheesh. I’m not sure I can agree with not giving warning. The possibilities of things going wrong have now escalated enormously. Thanks for the info Clive.
