And Fox and the Conservatives will say Romney won…your point? 🤷
Please read ringil’s original post… He already stated that, which is why I responded by changing two words. 🤷

You just tried to make my exact point. 👍 😛

Swing and a miss…

Stating that the MSM is in the tank for Obama and will likely feel a “tingle up their leg” isn’t being an ideologue. It is recognizing reality…that most of our “journalists” are left-wing ideologues…
Conservatives OWN talk radio and Fox News continually touts his ratings as being so much higher than MSNBC and the MSM. Can this myth of the “poor Conservatives without a voice in the media” please be retired now?

If more people are listening to your point of view, you’re not a victim anymore.

Yeah, continue to make my point.
If you say so.

Obama can say 57 states, and nothing from the MSM.

Dan Quayle spells potatoes wrong, and it’s played up for a week.

Fairness at its finest.

Fox and talk radio. But they are mostly (if not all) commentators and they don’t shape the overall narrative of the campaign that the mainstream media still does. ABC/CNN/NBC/MSNBC/CBS/NY Times/Wash.Post/ call themselves “reporters” but they are really a bunch of Obama partisans who want him to get re-elected. Did you hear the reporters discussing among themselves which questions to ask in the press conference a while back and how to trip him up? That is an example of what I’m and others are talking about. They are supposed to be unbiased - “just the facts” but they are anything but.

So watch the ones who are biased the way you are…seems simple to me.

Do you believe Obama didn’t know how many states there were?

CNN is not that biased, if at all biased.

The reporters ask hard questions to Obama all the time. That is the station I generally watch and that is my perception. Anderson Cooper especially does this- really getting on the Left when they deserve it.

You can see an overall effort to address both sides this election season. Now they are saying Obama is ahead because, well, he is.

I agree that MSNBC is biased as is FOX.

I never said Conservatives don’t have a voice in the media. I’m just stating the obvious bias in the majority of the media. When you have one station with higher ratings compared to many, many other stations, that doesn’t mean they have the majority of the viewers.

If you wish to concede that MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, BBC, et al slant Left and Fox News slants Right, I will concede that conservatives have A voice…that would be one…singular…station.

Talk radio? I’m guessing you aren’t familiar with NPR, the liberal stations that were formerly “Air America” and the other independent stations in major metropolitan areas (heck, even minor metropolitan areas like Portland, where we can listen to lefties spout off their garbage on a daily basis).

Overall, the mainstream media has a liberal bias.

No that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying that the press should be objective. They are biased overall toward Obama. Commentators are a different story: Rachel Maddow, et al state their bias at the outset. The press conpiring to trip up Romney at a press conference pretend to be objective but they aren’t. Now do you understand?

  1. Fresh, historic candidacy. After a stock market crash. Against a boring Republican moderate.
Obama carries FL and OH by 2%.

Flash forward to 2012.
  1. Obama has a (horrible) record
  2. No way the college kids turn out in the same numbers, or Hispanics. Probably not blacks, either.
  3. Romney is a better candidate than McCain; Ryan better than Palin
  4. At this point, Rasmussen had it O 50 McC 45
Draw your own conclusions.

On a continuum it does seem “just a bit” to the Left, but it isn’t anywhere near as far as folks are making it.

MSNBC and NPR- yes. I do not believe that NCC is overly biased.

That’s why it’s called a gaffe. 🤷

Had Bush or Romney said it, you would be giving it as an example on a regular basis…
The media pokes at Biden constantly. Obama doesn’t make that many gaffes- he does say “uh” a lot I guess. I’m not saying this as a liberal- he just doesn’t- though he has made a few.

Some politicians do them constantly, and some of the gaffes represent an internal thought process, or a geralized lack of professionalism- these get more attention.

You only see it as “just a bit” because you are so far left.

Who is NCC?

Nonsense. People have listed several gaffes by Obama. Or, do you think he is just uneducated and didn’t know how to pronounce “corpsmen?”

Well, maybe your persuasion is affecting your perceptions as well.

I HAVE seen NCC making an effort to hit both sides- it’s there.
