True. I also wish Pope Francis would have added something publicly encouraging Biden to support the unborn, since Biden is a very public figure.
He had not yet taken office. I look for the Pope to continue to admonish all leaders, including Biden, as current events unfold and the issue arises. Look for the same from the USCCB. He will not get a free pass for being Catholic (my prediction).

You might be able to draw conclusions but it remains the provenance of Biden’s Bishop to determine his status as a Catholic in good standing

Right, but does anyone actually think the Church supports abortion regardless of what Biden or any other politician does? I have a hard time believing that.
Yes, I heard a very liberal Catholic [he voted for pro-choice Democrats and was unapologetic - no one had to guess his position] who was volunteering with RCIA - after a participant asked Father a question about abortion one session say to participants and other volunteers on a break that “Father should just keep his mouth shut and not speak about abortion, it was not his place to do so and abortion was legal and therefore okay so Father should close his mouth.”

He expressed the same sentiments that same year when Pope John Paul II writings about how rights have no meaning if one does not first have the right to life … if you are dead - a right to health care or safe housing is meaningless. “He should keep his mouth shut on matters in America - its not his business to speak on”

I 😳 was totally flabbergasted, shocked and dismayed that an intelligent, affluent and educated individual could speak of the Holy Father and our parish priest in such a manner. 🤬 I just had to avoid being anywhere near him…

And our young people - how can parents and catechists teach them that actions are sinful and intrinsically evil when public officials speak otherwise? And these public persons are supported and celebrated in their public positions by the same Catholic parents / Catechists/ Priests / Bishops who are telling them that abortion is evil?

And people wonder why the Church is loosing Catholics left and right … I dont wonder … it is in large part because of these mixed messages.

We would not be having this discussion if many Catholics did not choose to vote the Democratic pro-abortion platform rather than for the innocent unborn. If you voted for Biden and Harris knowing they both were pro-abortion, you have approved and further enabled the ongoing Holocaust of the unborn.

What’s obvious:

. . . . He chides people about global warming, traditionalists, mask wearing and any rules wealthy countries have for immigration. He doesn’t seem to get as worked up about Catholic doctrine. . . .

I do not know if anyone here has voted on the platform.
just that his heart isn’t into it
Well, if you are going to sit in judgement over the pope it is a good thing you know what is in his heart.
