I recently came across this:
I find this “progression” or “evolution” (or insert whatever term you would like to call it) disturbing, I mean officially dropping the title Vicar Of Christ almost seems to be changing our traditional understanding of the role of the papacy (something I myself have been struggling with, so this doesn’t help matters), does it not?
What do y’all make of this?
PS: I’m not exactly sure what to post under, Traditional Catholicism seemed the best fit.
