The most racist are the ones that stir up racism where there isnt any racism such as the media and politicians(usually the left.)

They do this just for plain hate, or to rouse up people to go against the establishment…aka Saul Alinsky tactic.

Oh good grief. How is it possible to be so defensive when the Pope (the Pope!) decries racism? This must win the award for Most Transparent Post Of The Week.

Coming to a post near you soon…comments on abortion…

I’m piggy backing off what the Pope said. There is even more racism because of those that use Saul Alinsky tactics to fuel divide between the races. This happens alot even when there is no evident racism, just name calling and attacking.

You lump sexual orientation with race. Two totally different things. Race we cannot help, we are born into our race where sexual orientation it is not so. Still we should not hate anyone…as always, hate the sin love the sinner.

Even if you’re right, the Pope is the pastor of the whole world, not just the West… racism of various forms is still a serious issue.
Ever see the Chinese laundry detergent commercial that made the rounds on YouTube? A black man is shoved into the washing machine and comes out a Chinese man… the blackness washed away. Lots of racism in China as I understand it.

No one is racist anymore, at least not in the US or Western Europe.
I never ever in my wildest dreams thought that I would have to argue a comment such as that.

I was going to say - I was hoping to say, that your views are those of an insignificant minority. But now we are reaching a point when it is not those who forget the past that are doomed to repeat it. It is those who refuse to acknowledge the present are doomed to repeat the past.

Those who are racist do not recognize it. Take it from me. I come from a racist family. They don’t see it. The N word, for example, is just another part of the vocabulary. And don’t punch the Arab button. It wont stop.

Recently this topic came up in conversation in my family. My mom said: “Until they started to spread the news how everyone is terribly racist, no one even thought that you could treat the other person (especially from different ethnicity) this way.” We’re from Poland, so there wasn’t really that much of racism in social awareness until idk, 90’s? (until the Fall of the Iron Curtain at least ) In my opinion, it is US media who unintentionally (or intentionally?) projecting the inside US problems onto rest of the world.

POPE: There appears to be upsurge “feelings of suspicion, fear, contempt and even hatred towards individuals or groups judged for their ethnic, national or religious identity and, as such – he said - considered not sufficiently worthy of being fully part of society’s life”.
Kavanaugh
Covington Boys
Knights of Columbus
etc
(all attacked in past year based on their Catholic identity)

“whaaaaat? Nobody is raaacist anymore. Sheesh what an absurd thought. Racism… That died in the 20s. Racism… C’mon.”

No they weren’t.

Actually I don’t know about the knights of Columbus thing. But the first two were not.

That is not a defense of racism. You don’t defend something by saying you don’t believe it really exists anymore.

That is a defense of it. “We don’t need to worry about it. It’s dead and gone. Don’t look at the video from Charlottesville though. Because… That doesn’t exist. LALALALALALALALALA I CAN’T HEAR YOU IT DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE LALALALA”

But seriously. Go wander over to The Daily Stormer. Or Stormfront. And then spend an hour reading that vile filth. And try to say racism doesn’t exist with a straight face.

I’m just reading what Holy Father said, he didn’t limit it to race. He included religious identity.
