Wait. There’s no indication of racism before 2010? So you’re saying there is no evidence of racist white people prior to 2010? Or are you leaving off the Roma, the Jews, and other ethnic minorities?

Also that article doesn’t say “there was no racism prior to 2010”. That just happened to be a salient example of an incident.

No they weren’t.
Add Amy Comey Barrett to the list

In her confirmation hearing, Diane Feinsten said “it sounds like the dogma lives loud within you”

Imagine if a Republican said that to a Muslim appointee.

While there is no systemic racism any more there are plenty of individuals who are racist.

There are a lot of videos online of racist people ranting their racist views for the whole world to watch.

Thanks to the internet, the whole world can watch these racists act out their racist ways.

I can remember the video where a woman calls the cops on a family for barbecuing while black or another women calls the cops on a little girl selling bottled water.

Racism is very much alive.

I would say that as far as I know, there isn’t de jure racism. But there is de facto racism, which can be systemic. But I think that we’re both trying to say the same thing.

There’s no doubt racism is alive, but it’s not nearly as widespread as it was 50-60 years ago. Many people have come around.
However, those who cry “racist” because we disagree on policies or when a black man is arrested for a legitimate crime are weakening the battle to eliminate racism. If there is racism, call it out! But if it’s not, don’t use the race card just to antagonize things.
Peace.
Edit to add: Racism can also go two ways, and people need to recognize that too if it is to end.

Of course there is. Affirmative action and diversity quotas are textbook systemic racism. Its saying race A has priority over race B.

Also, racism is still openly accepted in society. As example, Don Lemon said “white men are the biggest terror threat in this country”

And the guy still has his job, proving mainstream racism is still accepted. If an anchor said same quote by replaced “white” with another race, he’d be gone in 2 seconds, proving we’re living in racist society (where white race is treated differently, as proven by the above example)

Can you name me one other major news anchor who made an openly racist quote like that against minorities in past year and still has job? Go ahead. I’ll wait.

And?

There’s no indication of any racism of white people against black people before 2010.
This is a joke. This is a thread designed to see who can say the most mind-boggingly nosensical thing and still keep a straight face.

It is a joke. It has to be. People don’t actually think this stuff. It’s beyond satire. It’s SNL meets Dali.

God doesn’t make same sex attraction, he may allow it for some, but just as with any disordered desire, we are to reject it. It is much more common now that the government and media has normalized homosexuality, which means it’s also driven by society(especially our USA sexualized and material driven society.) And again, it’s not the same as race since race is not disordered.

Some people may have more of concupiscence and more temptation, and more inclination to same sex attraction, but this is to be rejected as anyone with any sort of temptations and evil inclinations. Someone that gives into these temptations are what you call “gay” so yes people choose there behavior and choose to be gay. People must reject any disordered inclinations, all of us, every one of us.l, and all evil inclinations.l, not just same sex attraction.

Could you stop being straight with an act of will?
According to the all-too-common claim, (and no, I’m not defending it), that’s exactly what gays, lesbians, and bisexual people are doing; they’re choosing not to be straight.
The most racist are the ones that stir up racism where there isnt any racism such as the media and politicians(usually the left.)

They do this just for plain hate, or to rouse up people to go against the establishment…aka Saul Alinsky tactic.
No. That is not what the Pope said.

He didn’t say, “Don’t be racist. But don’t worry, there’s no such thing as racism.”

And he didn’t say, “Don’t be racist. But I’m mostly worried about people ‘playing the race card,’ race-baiting, and ‘stirring up racism where there isn’t any racism.’”

He simply told us not be racist, i.e. “to promote respect for the dignity of every human person.” This isn’t complicated. How is this even controversial??? 🥺

I don’t watch tv so I can’t say either way.

As for affirmative action, you honestly think only white men are affected?

Men of Asian descent are also discriminated against in Affirmative Action.

So in one way you are right, Affirmative Action is a form of institutional discrimination but it is not only against white men.

I purposely did not refer to any specific race when I addressed Affirmative Action, I said “race A” and “race B”, how you read “White” or “Asian” there I’ve no clue

I was not referring to the Race A or Race B part.
yes because that’s the part dealing with Affirmative Action.

the other part was discussing a specific example of a news anchor making a specific comment about white men.

My comments were not against the Pope but actually to confirm him that there racism, especially by the race baitors, anarchists, and those that use Saul Alinsky tactics. There would be alot less racism if it weren’t name calling everyone racist and using Alinsky tactics to fire up the crowd. Where I live the news and politicians are constantly talking about race just to fire up the crowd. As a matter of fact the clergy is constantly talking about race as well, like they are hooked on the evening news, meanwhile even bigger evils like abortion, infanticide, same sex marriage, and gender ideology get off the hook.

No, it’s not. Nothing in that post indicates that he is trying to distract from something. What I read it as is that being against racism today is like being against burning heretics. Nobody is really advocating for either nowadays.

Racism on the Internet and on the fringes of society is nothing compared to the institutional racism of past eras. There is a reason why people mostly on voice those opinions online behind anonymity. You can’t air them in public without being condemned and even having your life ruined.
