You can read, it seems. Did I say “can’t” or “not going to?”Not going to or can not?
Which is it?

But Mike there is NOTHING new here. And the only reason he had to do it was some were tyring to read into Lumen Gentum (vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_const_19641121_lumen-gentium_en.htmlthat ) something that simply was not there. Heres the paragraph that cuased the confusion:When you are trying to put out a fire (in this case trying to heal the rifts in Christianity), you don’t throw gasoline on it (ticking off non-catholic Christians). Common Sense!!
You did not say either way, therefore I asked. You can read, it seems. Did I say “can’t” or “not going to?”
I never accused you of anything, you have of me yet I must “tone down”?Tone down how you speak to me please.
You also can not pretend a teaching does not exist that really does exist. Like I said, there are some out there who are saying that Vatican II did away with this teaching. It did not do away with it.When you are trying to put out a fire (in this case trying to heal the rifts in Christianity), you don’t throw gasoline on it (ticking off non-catholic Christians). Common Sense!!
I just love it when people argue about me!You did not say either way, therefore I asked.
You don’t have to answer.![]()
I CAN argue with anyone on here, and I can hold my own very well. However, it’s pointless to argue in this manner back and forth, as I’ve stated before. Tis not my problem that you can’t seem to keep your mouth closed. You did not say either way, therefore I asked.

Correct, Lumen Gentum WAS part of the teachings of Vatican IIYou also can not pretend a teaching does not exist that really does exist. Like I said, there are some out there who are saying that Vatican II did away with this teaching. It did not do away with it.
I say let it burnWhen you are trying to put out a fire (in this case trying to heal the rifts in Christianity), you don’t throw gasoline on it (ticking off non-catholic Christians). Common Sense!!
You made a point and were challenged, then when you responded you were toldI just love it when people argue about me!![]()

Prove your accusations as being truth and not slander, and you can keep arguing with yourself.I CAN argue with anyone on here, and I can hold my own very well. This is the offensive post.First off, Catholics would expect us Protestants to treat their Priests with respect. Grace Seeker is a Pastor, and you all should treat him with a little more respect.
Secondly, Hellisreal: I find it ironic that your signature verse says what it says, yet you continue to talk to the Protestants here as though they are “lost.” Wouldn’t your efforts be better spent, trying to convert someone who doesn’t know the Lord?
You need to BACK UP. The only reason I did not argue with Estesbob, is because I do not wish to. I have read his posts in other sections, and I have a huge respect for him and his beliefs. I do not WANT to argue with him. This is the offensive post.
How did I not treat GS with respect?
How do I talk to Protestants here as though they are “lost”?

You, on the other hand, have an attitude. I NEVER said that YOU were treating Grace Seeker badly. I just wanted everyone to know that he is a Pastor, and should be treated as such. If that offended anyone, I am sorry.
I’m sorry that you feel that I have accused you without justification or proof. I am aware of my own weaknesses, and one of them is my temper. I do not like the way you speak to people here, and so I am going to stop talking to you, so that I don’t say something I will regret. You and I are done speaking, at least for the time being. I apologize for any offense.
CyaSo you cant prove I said anything offensive, but are using the emotional plea.
Again- you have falsely accused me.
Its a sin.
Protestantism is intrinsically angry…that’s why they keep fragmenting the Body of Christ.I forsee that there are gonna be many angry protestants.
“In the beginning Mass was celebrated only once a week, then three or four times, and finally, in the fifth or sixth century, every day.” (Legislation on the Sacraments in the New Code of Canon Law, 87)No, he was more of a radical/revolutionary (a peaceful one, of course).
If you look at how the Catholic Church is being attacked for her unchanging teachings on issues of morality, it seems that the Church’s stances are being seen as more radical all the time by the world and many non-Catholic Christians. That would make sense, given her Founder.
