He’s taking a ton of criticism for this from fellow Calvinists, etc. But we must go where the Lord leads us – even if it pushes us out of our comfort zones
Wow, that guy is full of himself… He must have never heard of the Early Church Fathers. We should send him a book or five. Thanks – I’ll check it out.
I’ve noticed extremist Steven Anderson already jumped all over it:
You can’t be a heretic if you were never Catholic.Full of himself is an understatement in regards to Steven Anderson. He’s an anti Semite and Would be of the few people on earth I would label as a heretic.
I had never heard of him until I came to this forum. He is not typical of Evangelicals.I’ve noticed extremist Steven Anderson already jumped all over it:
This man has a heart for God. Sounds a lot like St. Francis of Assisi. He is literally trying to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.Chan said he felt convicted to sacrifice more for God. Chan gives away about 50 percent of his income, doesn’t take a salary from his church, and has donated most of his book royalties, which have totaled about $2,000,000, to various charities. All of it goes to organizations which rescue sex slaves in foreign countries.[6][ verification needed ] Furthermore, in 2008 it was reported that Cornerstone would give away 55% of its income to charitable causes
I think it is important for all to hear the whole sermon and then at that, don’t just hear what you think he is saying.
