Thank you Lord for a beautiful autumn weekend with my daughter! The days were sunny and beautiful while we were together. We spent a lot of time talking and eating her favorite foods at home and out (her college food is bad, lol) and of course talking about things in her life.
Thank you for bringing her some relief in the form of friends and one in particular (who is actually a psychologist) that was able to help her see that all is not lost and that what she is feeling is based on solid psychology as well as Faith. (We both felt a little less “crazy” and more validated I suppose!) She will speak to him again when she is home for Thanksgiving and is looking forward to that. I could see that after talking to him, she seemed less stressed and spoke about her ex in ways she was unable to for a long time. I believe she returned to school with a new sense of hope although she continues to worry about her ex and feels the time passing all to slowly.
Please continue Lord to move things according to your will Lord. Of course, I ask that your hand will move things in the direction we hope and pray for.

Just a quick word of thanks to all who have been praying so faithfully for my daughter. I really appreciate it and so does my daughter. We think that we are making progress in baby steps and that is a good thing.
My daughter has said that some good things have come out of the breakup. I thought I knew what she meant, but I asked her anyway and she said that she started going back to mass at school and praying more and that she realized she needed to trust more people and not just depend on her boyfriend. She said that if they get back together, she will use the opportunity to bring him back to God with her. She feels confident that she could too. She acknowledges that this would be something that would really make their relationship even better than before. I can’t argue with that!
This was a pretty big deal that she said that because that was the one thing that was missing from both their lives, especially since they both went to Catholic schools and had a good spiritual life before college. I feel a sense of relief that she realizes what was missing in her life, and hope that she has the opportunity to do what she says.
Again, I thank you all for your continued prayers. Their power is amazing! I continue to pray for all of you too!

I am so thankful that your daughter has the opportunity to attend mass at her college. My daughter also attends a Catholic University and the ability to attend Mass has been such a blessing to her. I continue to pray for your daughter and wish you all the best.

What she asks for may seem to others like something that would be impossible or improbable or take a miracle, but we know that with you Lord all things are possible. If it your will Lord, I ask that you grant our intention as my daughter hopes it will enfold. She is logical, determined, faithful and truly believes that you will bring about what she asks.
