Hello All - I’m 34 year old husband of 10 years this past February with 2 children. In total of 14 years dating/marriage. My marriage is in a crisis & I need the power of prayer to circulate for my marriage. I will tell more when I get the power & strenght, as of now my life is “numb”.

Husband

Dear Husband, my heart goes out to you.
I will keep you and your family in prayer and in daily Mass.
May God comfort and uphold you.

Trishie

Husband, I know a little of how devastating and scary and painful it is to be in your situation. May God and Mother Mary be with you. And if there’s any way of saving your marriage, may God help you both with that.
Please take good care of yourself, as much as you can, Trishie

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Father, we ask you to enter the hearts
and minds of this couple. Remove
all evil things from their paths.
Send your special angel to this family
for comfort, guidance, peace, and most
of all Love.
We ask this in the name of Jesus!
AMEN

Thank you all. Even though I don’t know any of you I feel very honored. You all brought tears to my face & a feeling of joy. Joy which I haven’t felt in a few weeks. Keep Praying, I need all the help I could get. She has turned her faith away from God. She said she has lost hope. I know something evil is working against us & I Pray for the evilness to withdrawl from our marriage. At times it works against me also, as I want to give up & stop rowing the boat. But my faith & hope keeps me just above water for yet another day…

Her words to me this morning via text message after i asked why she stopped loving me.
"i was seeking certain things with u & u never gave back…i wanted a church wedding & it wasnt important to u…other stuff to…i am no longer in love with u the way a wife should love her husband…i dont want to force myself to feel something that isnt there for me anymore…i just want peace & u are not giving it to me right now…i dont know what u want from me?"
Can someone relate to her feelings?

I would do anything to make things right. She took a day off from work to go apartment hunting. We have everything as far as materialistic can buy.Big house, pool & spa, cars, clothes & toys. But a house with no love is not a home. I want a home for my family. We are blessed with 2 healthy children (girl 12 & boy 9) but evil is around us. Please Lord help my marriage as it is in crisis…

husband:

I’m sorry to he hear what you you are going through, this is very sad to read and hear. I’m praying for you and your family.

Prayerfully,

Renato

Husband, anyone who has been through marriage breakdown has a glimpse of the nightmare you are going through. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your wife.

**In answer to your question: Unfortunately, my youngest son relates to what your wife feels, not the same specifics, but the disappointment and numbness. Sadly, he has finally decided to leave. I’m praying for their healing. My middle son went through what you are going through. “I nearly went mad, Mum, except for music and Stargate DVD’s” And our love and his brother’s frequent visits. And prayer. He’s happily re-married, two years later. I’ve been through it, four times. But Husband, my husband and I are still together, and it will be 40 years we’ve been married in September. **

I’m glad you have us to talk to and ask prayer. We will continue to pray for you, that day by day, you can deal with this with hope and faith. Bless you, Trishie:hug1:

Husband, in the depths of my self-blame, which we all have when facing serious marriage problems, I think…I wrote “Peter’s regret” below. I don’t know if any part of it can be changed to fit how you feel. I know you feel helpless but please continue to hope and pray when you can. In times that you can only feel raw emotion and even despair, which is natural, may God simply carry you. Don’t hit yourself over the head if you feeldespair and anger, just give however bad and hopeless you feel to God, as that is prayer too. May God help you to grow in love and faith and to be able to communicate this to your wife. May God heal her battered heart and your battered heart.
Trishie

Jesus, I know the regret of one who fails to serve the need in another person, perhaps even in one’s most-loved. I have experienced the remorse of those who wound another, however unintentionally. Afterwards, there may seem no redress? The damage perhaps seems irreversible. The other’s heart or mind may seem unapproachable, due to their nature or attitudes; or one simply lacks courage to risk the other’s anger or reproach?

When we bless others, we bless You, and when we wound them, we wound You… Thus, in Your weakest moment I left You desolate. In Your greatest need, I abandoned You—although in my confusion and loss I feel that You deserted me. Nothing can expunge your hurt then, in that time. I ask forgiveness, and You forgive. Yet the moment cannot return and you are gone. Not gone, but changed…beyond my touch and understanding?

The scars remain, burned in Your feet and hands, and in my heart. Yet You loved and chose, and gave Your life for me—although my weakness, fear, and sin betrayed and denied You. Now, in recompense made fit by Your pure sacrifice—again and again I shall serve and pray for each brother in his weakness and need, as You have done for me. Thus may I watch with my Lord, sharing a-hundredfold what once I denied You.

I feel your pain and am praying that the evil that has come upon your household will leave and never return so that peace and love may reign.

"Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. "

Amen.

Praying very hard for you. I know how difficult divorce is…I was married 23 years to a man that just walked in and said he didn’t want me anymore. At the time…we had all those “material” things…but a younger woman was what he wanted. Now, however, God has blessed me with a wonderful man…although our lives now face challenges daily…Don’t give up your faith. Go to Church and talk to a priest…or talk to a counselor…God is working miracles in your life although you may not realize it. I’m praying for you. We don’t know why things happen like they do…but God gave us the gifts of faith, hope and love…Praying for you.

Thank you all…let me compose myself as I can’t stop crying. I will get back in a few.

You’re all marvelous people! 👍

I’m feeling at an all time low this morning. My wife locked my bedroom door & I felt so unimportant, so unwanted, so unloved. I have to be honest & say that I feel as God has turned his cheek on me. But down deep inside of me I have a small hope that He has a plan for me. Not just a plan for me, but also for our children & even my dear wife. I don’t know wether to ask Him to save our marriage or ask Him to make me strong & help me let her go. I’m scared of that day. She’s hurt me soooo much this past few weeks, more then our entire 14 years of togetherness. I totally understand that it is not all her fault, I have not been the perfect Christian husband either. I have my faults & my weakness also. But never did I think it would come to this. I have not cheated, hurt her physically & hardly ever insult her verbally. I’m a great father & hard worker. I have strong morals & geniunley care about everything & anything. I don’t smoke & do drugs. I don’t see the logic on how & why she fell out of love with me. I’m actually a rather handsome man (smiling). So that’s why I ask myself…why, God, why?

I have no idea…but I am praying for you. God feels your pain and He does have a plan. Hold tight to your love for Him.
