Thank you so much, BlessedStar!
My heart actually worries a little after reading the thread of
“Frightening sermon by St. Leonard of Port Maurice”,
My mother is a Protestant. So she did not have to go to confession. When I flew to see her a few weeks ago, we (all four daughters) told her the importance of forgiving others and so God will forgive her. I asked for her forgiveness for anything I offended her during the past. A priest came to anoint her with oil and talked about forgiveness. Even she could not talk, we were very sure she heard it all.
Last night before she passed away, I called and my sister who was with her in ICU put me on the speaker phone. I told her I loved her very much and asked her to have peace and fix her eyes on Jesus.
I hope she will make to the purgatory. The sermon by St. Leonard
worries me.
