Thank you very much for your kind words. Your post is proof of the blessing that cancer has been. I have no idea how many prayer lives have been deepened because of this affliction, but this is precisely why I was allowed the cross. That others might come to faith, or pursue a deeper prayer life because of my condition is the most Christ-like that my life has ever been. And, it is not through my labor, but that of the Lord.

Near the beginning of this, I mentioned asking for the reversion to the faith of a co-worker (due to her prayers for me) if it was not cancer, and for the strength to bear my cross - even though it might lead to Golgotha for me, if it was. I have received that strength, and even more than I asked for, thanks be to our Kind and Loving God. He, Who is faithful and true, has never failed me. To imagine that others see my faith as strong, when I view it as weak and superficial, is almost incomprehensible to me.

Therefore, all praise and glory be to the Lord. Again, thank you for your selfless prayer and may God reward you with treasure in Heaven.

Jim
Jim. What a glorious praise to God. I am praying for your every day…praying for your peace, strength and asking a miraculous healing from St. Jude and St.Perigonne. Sending ahug your way:hug3: My love to you, my dear friend…diane

Thank you dear Baby Jesus, and Dear Blessed Mother, and Saint Joseph, and all you Saints that helped.
What a wonderful Christmas give Our Lord has given me for His birthday.
My (Our) Prayers for My daughter have been answered
I will do my best to be worthy of it.
My Daughter is so loving and giving and I do wonder why… but you have resolved everything…In your own time as we knew You would.
Happy Birthday Baby Jesus
and thank you Dear Blessed Mother for Having Him.

Jim, I haven’t posted for awhile because, well 😊 I guess I’ve just been feeling a little blue over my own medical woes, which are nowhere near what you’ve been going through. Truthfully, you, who are in need of prayers, post so inspiringly that you have been an encouragement to me.

I will keep you, Elsa, Dani, and all those near and dear to you, in prayer this Christmas. :hug3:

Continuing to keep you in my prayers Jim along with your wife and family. I hope you have a blessed Christmas!

Praise God, I am officially through with chemo. My body now has the task of rebuilding itself. Yes, we will have a blessed Christmas for, without this treatment, last Christmas would very likely have been my last one.

I have only the Lord, and you, my brothers and sisters, to thank for being able to make this journey. Without your constant intercession, Rosaries, and mass intentions, how could things have turned out so well? You have built up treasure which no one may steal from you.

My family wishes each and every one of you a peaceful, reflective and blessed Christmas.

May Christ’ peace be always with you.

Jim

Jim…Still keeping you in my prayers and praising God for what He has done to help you recover…May your Christmas be blessed and full of joy and love…My dear, dear, friend, Diane

Brothers and sisters, it has snowed all day, a rarity on Christmas in the Northwest. I look out and marvel at God’s goodness, knowing that I witness it only through His unfathomable mercy. Christmas greetings and joy to all. Amen!

Still praying for you, Jim. Praying for a great 2009 for you and your family!

Jim…just wanted to wish you a glorious God day filled with love and comfort and peace…I keep you in my prayers always.

Again, I am humbled by your prayers. I am still on all of my oral meds, which will continue for the foreseeable future. And, rocket, we had no idea going into 2008 just what lie in wait for us. April was my daughter’s emergency appendectomy and the discovery of my cancer. Since then, it’s been a blur! Made much easier by your continuing prayer. Thank you all and God bless you, and let’s increase our faith for 2009!

I continue to read all the posts and will keep you in my prayers. My fervent prayer for you now is that you will be truly blessed and wrapped in the loving embrace of our Saviour, Jesus, during this blessed season of mercy and grace.

Praise God that you are done with the chemo! 🙂
