Pray for a poster that just found out that his wife has breast cancer and will be operated on Tuesday. Pray that our Lord heals and protects her and that the whole family leans on Christ at this time.
Praying for Roy and his wife.

Would you please include my wife in your prayers? Tuesday she goes in for breast surgery, they found a lump. They are just going in to remove it and biopsy it. The sad part is her mother and sister both had cancer. I may be cranky but I can not be without her. If I ever make it to heaven it will be my wife sneaking me in the backdoor when no one is looking.

She is simply the best possible human person for me. :o :o :o :o :o I love her guys.

Subject: special prayer request

My name is Lyle Shackelford and I am a

Chaplain in Iraq. As a transportation battalion,

my unit will be delivering the voting machines and

the ballots to villages and cities throughout Iraq

during the upcoming elections. (January 30/31) Our

convoys are prime targets for the insurgents because

they do not want the equipment to arrive at the

polling stations nor do they want the local Iraqi

citizens to have the chance to vote; timely delivery

must occur so that the elections occur. Encourage

your friends and family members and those within our

churches to pray for us and specifically for the

electoral process. I will pray with my soldiers

before they leave on their convoys and move outside
our installation gates here at Tallil. My soldiers

are at the nerve center of the logistic operation to

deliver the voting machines and election ballots.

They will be driving to and entering the arena of

the enemy. This is not a game for them it is a

historical mission that is extremely dangerous. Your

prayer support and God’s intervention are needed.

Thank you for reading this e-mail. Please give

this e-mail a wide dissemination. Thank you for your

prayer support for me and my family. Stand firm in

your battles.

Blessings, CH (CPT) Lyle Shackelford

I just applied for a new job which would be closer to home, more pay, and hopefully more fulfilling. If you could spare a prayer that I might get it I would really appreciate it. I’ll keep everyone’s intentions in my prayers. Thanks.

Prayers for a dear friend who is in the Critical Care Unit…
I just got word that she has passed…
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her, Amen

Ever since her husband walked out on her, my sister has been a different person. She has repeatedly constructed a false reality in her mind, a fantasy world where she is queen and the star of her own soap opera, changing her name, dumping her kids; all sorts of lies and creepy attitudes and mannerisms.

One time, when a fantasy-reality she had convinced herself of after elaborately constructing was shattered, she became violent with the one who shattered it.

My Dad passed away last October and she has since taken most of my Mom’s money; at first denying it, then giving a reason unrelated to her, then saying Dad wanted to give it to her “in secret”.

Anyway, charges may be pressed unless she suddenly feels the fear of God, gets convicted, and completely repents with all her power. There are all sorts of consequences to charges being pressed, but it seems like it might be the only way - and the most responsible thing to do.

Please, please, pray with all the angels and saints that this gets worked out quickly and smoothly. God’s will be done.

My brother first walked away from the Church, then Jesus, then lost even a belief in God and now has walked away from his wife and three children - please pray for his return to sanity and that his mother and I may accept the will of the Lord in this matter. Thank you.

Catholic friends!

I need your prayers! At this moment in my life I don’t understand how God want me to use my talents. I want to use my education in a way that not conflikt with catholic moral. (My work is about giving advice to others). The result of that wish (to stay at catholic moral at work), has so far led me to a very low income. I feel so frustrated. I don’t have enough money to go for a summer holliday wich I feel I **need ** very much. (To sit home when friends go for refreshing fun). There are a lot of other things I have to forsake too. I have tried this low-income-thing for more than three years. I don’t know if I can take it any more. In all those years I have tried to figure out what God want me to do. But in this case I feel so alone!

The only thing I have to do is to search for a secular job, and money will run into my pockets (and I can jump of joy in my summer hollidays).

Some kind of dilemma!

I have praid and praid for Gods guidance in this difficult choice. Will you please remember me in your prayers for some weeks; - that God will make it more clear to me how I can use my education in an aproppiate way (that is OK for me as a catholic) and that I can relax enough to “hear” what He is saying and then put my energy into doing the choice I must make and stay with it!

Thank you very much!

I am praying for all the requests I have read here on this thread. I would like prayers for my daughter that is studying in Spain. Every week I hear of a bomb going off somewhere in Spain and I get concerned that we let her go. She is having a great time and learning so much Spanish and she loves the people. I am praying that Jesus keeps her trip and studies there safe and that she comes home to us safely in June. Thank you all in advance. This is the hard part about being a mom isn’t it?

There has “always” been some bombing in Spain by the separatistmovement (the baskers who want a piece of Spain for themselves). Still people from Northern-Europe continue to buy houses for their summer hollidays there (and in hope to have a place to retire in a warm climate). The train-bombing by islamic terrorist, last year, was something else (very scaring)!

But we have to live. If we stop going out, stop to educate and so on, the terrorist gets what they wanted! (I know you know that … ).

You can be proud of your daugther! She is in my prayers!

I requested prayers for my family a few days ago - my brother had walked out on his wife and children - and the loving responses I received from Catholic Christians were overwhelming.

Please keep him and his wife in your prayers - for their conversion and for freedom from the bondage of self. Last night my sister-in-law told me he had contacted her and he wants them to go to counciling to try and work it out.

Is Jesus concerned about each of us? Is the Pope Catholic?
